In 1982, Foss became the first high school in Washington state to introduce the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. In the spring of 2001, the school was selected by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as an Achiever High School in Washington State. Nimdoma Sherpa was born into a poor Sherpa family in a remote Himalayan village in Nepal. Patrick Francis (born Melbourne 1991) is an Australian artist, athlete and author. He is best-known for his colourful depictions of contemporary Melbourne life and as the co-founder (with sister Lesley Francis) of Absolutely Awetistic Arts. The 2013 New Zealand Derby was a horse race which took place at Ellerslie Racecourse on Saturday 2 March 2013. It was the 138th running of the New Zealand Derby, and it was won by Habibi. Molly Anne Taylor is an Australian rally car driver from Sydney, NSW and is the 2016 Australian Rally Champion. She is the first and only female driver to win the Australian Rally Championship, and was the youngest, regardless of gender, to do so at the time. Subaru exited the Australian Rally Championship at the end of the 2019 season, but Taylor continues to be an ambassador for Subaru Australia. At 66 years old she was still diving with sharks and was awarded the Centenary Medal for service to Australian society in marine conservation and the Australian Senior Achiever of the Year. Its per capita income increased a stunning 21-fold over the last four decades, also lifting hundreds of millions out of income poverty. A 1972 recipient of the Tiger Scout award, Rhee is the founding Chairman of the Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS), a fellowship group formed during the 38th World Scout Conference, of Scouts and Scouters who have achieved the highest rank in their Scout associations-Queen Scout, President's Scout, Fuji Scout, Eagle Scout, etc. Rhee has been active in the Scout Movement since 1966. Born in Częstochowa, Poland, Milowka moved to Melbourne at an early age with her parents, attending Caulfield Grammar School from 1994 to 1999. At the school, she was a house captain, champion school rower and was a finalist in the statewide VCE achiever award. She received her graduate degrees in Maritime Archaeology from Flinders University (2007), Bachelor of Business, Marketing and Event Management from Victoria University (2008), Bachelor of Arts, History and Australian Studies from University of Melbourne (2005), where she was a president of the Melbourne University Underwater Club (2003–2005). In the summer of 2007 she completed an internship in St. Augustine, Florida, with LAMP (Lighthouse Archaeological Maritime Program), the research arm of the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, where she participated in the archaeological excavation of historic shipwreck sites.

After winning the TAA Formula Ford "Driver To Europe" Series in 1971 and the Australian Formula 2 Championship in 1972 (both times in an Elfin 600), Perkins travelled to Europe where he won the 1975 European Formula Three Championship. He also raced in Formula One during the 1974, 1976 and 1977 seasons. In 2007, Moreton Bay College won both the Mollie Gould Cup for Swimming and the Stephens Trophy for Athletics for the first time in MBC history. This feat was repeated in 2008. In 2009, Moreton Bay College swimmers lived up to their reputation by taking out the Mollie Gould Cup for the fifth consecutive year, totally an impressive seven times over the past eight years. The graduates of 2006 and 2007 achieved outstanding results, which saw MBC described as ‘the most successful of the state’s all-girls schools”. In 2008, the results of the graduating class saw MBC earn the title of “Queensland’s No. 1 Academic Achiever for 2008” by The Courier-Mail. While Moreton Bay Boys’ College remained fully independent of MBC in its management, in 2008, Moreton Bay College assumed full financial responsibility for the college.

In 1984, Bina Sarkar Ellias co-founded the advertising agency "Nucleus", with Rafeeq Ellias and worked for 12 years as its Creative Director. In 1997, she founded International Gallerie, a bi-annual arts and ideas magazine that she edits, designs and publishes. In recognition of her efforts, she has been awarded a Woman Achiever's award by FICCI/FLO 2013, Woman Achiever of the year by TimesGroup & ITC, in 2008 and a Fellowship from the Asia Leadership Fellow Program and Japan Foundation for research and development of the project: Unity in Diversity: Envisioning Community Building in Asia and Beyond, Tokyo, in 2007 in recognition of her work in encouraging knowledge, understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity. Gustin's first known screen role came while he was still in high school in the film Rain (2004). In this student film, by director/producer Neil Grochmal, during his studies at Regent University. Gustin plays a young mute who dreams of a man's tragic loss of his wife in a robbery, then later crosses paths with the man, stirring visions that help the man solve the mystery of who murdered his wife. Grochmal said Gustin showed raw talent and figured the youngster would be a future achiever in acting. Gustin left school to take the role of Baby John in the Broadway Revival Tour of West Side Story, and performed with the tour from its opening on September 30, 2010, through September 23, 2011. Gustin in 2014 On November 8, 2011, he debuted on the television series Glee as Sebastian Smythe, an openly gay member of the Dalton Academy Warblers.

To kick off the brand new chart, American jazz singer Al Martino had the first ever number one single in the UK with "Here in My Heart", which remains his biggest selling single. The song spent nine consecutive weeks at number one, which continued to be the longest consecutive run at number one until mid-1954. In second place was pop singer Jo Stafford with "You Belong to Me", and, with the exception of one week, she stayed just one place behind the top spot for nine weeks, until she finally managed to knock Al Martino off the top in 1953. Another record-achiever went to English traditional pop music singer Vera Lynn, who had three singles within the top 10 at the same time with "Forget Me Not (Vera Lynn song)" (at number 7), "The Homing Waltz" (at number 9), and "Auf Wiederseh’n Sweetheart" (at number 10).

Utsav Lal has performed several piano concerts with a repertoire of Indian ragas at venues including Carnegie Hall, New York, John F. Kennedy Center, Washington DC, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, KonsertHuset, Sweden, Southbank Centre, London and others. Lal holds a Bachelors in Jazz from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow and a Masters in Contemporary Improvisation from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston. Lal won Ireland's MAMA Award (2008) for Multiculturalism in the individual category, Yamaha Jazz Scholar award (2014), TiE Aspire Young Indian Achiever Award (2012) and was named a Young Steinway Artist (2010) by piano-makers, Steinway & Sons. Indian record label Times Music released his debut album Piano Moods of Indian Ragas in 2008. Subsequent album releases are "Ragas Dance off Piano Keys", "Ragas Al Pianoforte", "Ragas to Reels", and a solo recording of ragas on the ”Fluid Piano”, released by the "Fluid Piano" tuning label (2016).

Angela Mary Doyle, AO born Kathleen Doyle is member of the Order of the Sisters of Mercy in Australia and is nationally recognised for her work as a hospital administrator at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Brisbane and for her early advocacy for the support and care of Queenslanders with HIV/AIDS. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honours including: Queenslander of the Year in 1989, Australian Achiever in 1990, Order of Australia for services to hospital administration, community health and teaching health care services in 1993, the inaugural Queensland Greats award in 2001 and the Centenary Medal for distinguished service to the community and the health industry in 2001. In 2009, she was inducted into the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame. In 2010, Sister Angela Mary published her autobiography, Mercy, Mater & Me : Sister Angela Mary (A Memoir) with the University of Queensland Press.

Fry served on many business and community boards in Quebec City related to trade, education, the Baptist Church, and public services, including as an assessor for the Quebec Vice- Admiralty Court, a director of the Quebec Bank 1864–78, a trustee of the Quebec High School 1866–77, treasurer of the Quebec Literary & Historical Society, president of the YMCA 1870–78 and committee member of the YWCA 1875–77, treasurer of the Baptist Church 1875–77 and of the Quebec City Mission 1870–77. In his lifetime, he crossed the Atlantic 37 times, owned outright or had interests in more than 19 sailing ships. An over-achiever, he suffered from periodic mood swings and insomnia. In his retirement years, he wrote and published several works on steam ships, shipping and North Atlantic navigation as well as treatises illustrated with his meticulous drawings of ships, and memoirs, including Essays and Reminiscences.

While attending the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe he competed in the International Mathematical Olympiad, where he won a bronze medal in 1986 and a gold medal with a perfect score in 1987. He obtained a B.A. degree (Parts I & II) in Mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was Senior Wrangler (achiever of the highest mark), and went on to complete the C.A.S.M. He then completed his dissertation, entitled The levels of modular representations, under the supervision of Richard Taylor, for which he was awarded a Ph.D. degree. As a founding Australian member in 2008 of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), which is an independent and internationally recognised code of labour practice, founded on the conventions of the International Labour Organisation, annually discloses its ethical sourcing program to the ETI, including continuous improvement initiatives. ETI members must adopt their principles of implementation, which set out the approach to ethical trade, including the requirements for companies to demonstrate a clear commitment to integrate ethical trade into their core business practices; to drive ongoing improvements to worker welfare and working conditions, for example through advice and training; and report openly and accurately about their activities. Since joining the ETI in 2008, Pacific Brands has demonstrated leadership and yearly improvements which has seen its membership status upgraded from Beginner in 2008, to Improver in 2010 and to Achiever in 2011. As a flag officer she served as Director of Governmental and Public Affairs at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Her subsequent tour was as the Commander of the Eighth Coast Guard District and Commander of Task Force 189.8, headquartered in New Orleans. As District Commander, Landry was responsible for U.S. Coast Guard operations covering 26 states, more than 1,200 miles of coastline and 10,300 miles of inland waterways from Florida to Mexico and including the entire navigable lengths of the Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee river systems. During this tour she served as Federal on Scene Coordinator in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and oversaw the service’s response to the 2011 Mississippi River Valley floods. Landry’s military commendations and civilian honors include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit (three awards), the University of Rhode Island Distinguished Achievement Award, the Seamen’s Church Institute River Bells Distinguished Service award, the U.S. Women in Shipping and Trading Association Personality of the Year 2011, New Orleans Magazine 2011 Top Female Achiever, and an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Hilbert College.

Mundheim was awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2007. In 2014, in The Monetary System: Analysis and New Approaches to Regulation, authors Jean-François Serval and Jean-Pascal Tranié noted: "This year, Robert Mundheim was honored by the American Lawyer as a 'Lifetime Achiever', which is one of the most recognized distinctions that an American lawyer can get."
