Upon his graduation from the Central Academy of Drama's undergraduate programme in Directing, Li directed his first full-length play How Much Love can be Borrowed (2006).
A graduate of the Central Academy of Drama in 1992, Diao has worked as a screenwriter with directors Shi Runjiu (in All the Way) and Zhang Yang (in Spicy Love Soup and Shower). Additionally, Diao has directed three films of his own, including 2003's Uniform and 2007's Night Train, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2002, during the shooting of a commercial, the director suggested Wang attend an acting academy. Wang resigned from his job and moved to Shanghai to take courses on acting at the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2002. The next year, he applied for the Beijing Film Academy and the Central Academy of Drama. Wang received offers from both academies, and chose to attend the latter.
Yuan Quan was born in a Hui-Han family. She married actor Xia Yu in 2009, a decade after their first got together as students in Central Academy of Drama. They have appeared in 4 films together: The Law of Romance (2003), Waiting Alone (2004), Shanghai Rumba (2006) and Breakup Buddies (2014). Yuan Quan also portrayed a character named Xia Yu in Pretty Big Feet (2002).
Chen was born Chen Shu () in Huangshi, Hubei, in a musical family, the daughter of Chen Zongshan (), a dancer in Huangshi. Her maternal grandparents were professors at Hubei University. Chen studied at Medium Dance School affiliated to Beijing Dance Academy and worked as an actress in China Song and Dance Ensemble from 1992 to 1999. Chen graduated from Central Academy of Drama in 2001, where she majored in acting.
At the age of 18, Hédi took acting lessons from the Hungarian acting teacher Kálmán Rózsahegyi at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. In her classes, she met other types of artists such as Berek Kati and Imre Soós. She was for a long time married to Ferenc Bessenyei, but the couple later divorced. After having life-saving surgery, she later died from a serious illness.
Hans Zhang Han (, born 6 October 1984) is a Chinese actor, singer and host. He graduated from Central Academy of Drama in 2007. Zhang is best known for his roles in Meteor Shower (2009) and Meteor Shower II (2010), Fall in Love (2011), The Queen of SOP (2012), Heroes in Sui and Tang Dynasties (2013), Boss & Me (2014), The Four (2015), Wolf Warriors 2 (2017) and Here to Heart (2018).
Shortly after her graduation from the Central Academy of Drama, Bai Baihe made her acting debut in the television series Bloom of Youth (2006). She continued to appear in dramas such as Where is Happiness (2007) and My Youthfulness (2009). Bai achieved breakthrough with the 2011 romantic-comedy Love Is Not Blind, also starring Wen Zhang. The low- budget film became a surprise hit at the Chinese box office.
In 1997, she attended the Színház-es Filmmûvészeti Foiskola (Academy of Drama and Film, Faculty of Film and Television) in Budapest, Hungary, and UCLA in 1998. Wiegand started in taking stills and developing them in her father's darkroom as a child. She switched to motion capture when she started shooting local cable TV ads. She went on to direct multi-camera shoots on commercials and industrial films while working at Detroit's Midwest Video.
After graduating from high school, Koller first went through a four-year apprenticeship as a precision toolmaker and then, after three years of training at the Academy of Drama in Zurich, Switzerland, graduated as an actor/director. The next several years he spent acting and directing at German and Swiss theatres. He won many festival awards with his short films. Between 1986 and 1988, he was a member of the directors’ board of Balázs Béla Film Studio. In 1989 he worked as a war correspondent for Japanese and French television and Radio Free Europe during the Romanian revolution.
Chen Sicheng (born February 22, 1978 in Shenyang) is a Chinese actor, director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Central Academy of Drama, and is known for his leading roles in the films A Young Prisoner's Revenge and Spring Fever; as well as television series Soldiers Sortie. As a director, Chen is known for the hit television series Beijing Love Story and its film sequel; as well as the blockbuster comedy film series Detective Chinatown.
She had no plans to become famous; she originally aspired to become an archaeologist or lawyer. Tang made the decision to enter the entertainment industry after doing some modelling in 1997 and played a minor role in the TV series Chinese Female Football. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama where she majored in directing. Shortly after her university graduation, Tang met Stan Lai during one of his trips to China.
Junichi Kajioka started his acting career in 1988 in Tokyo, Japan. He mainly acted in TV dramas, but also performed in the theatre and in musicals. In 1995, he decided to go to Beijing, China, and studied acting at the Central Academy of Drama and script translating at the Beijing Film Academy. He then made his film debut in the 2000 Cannes Film Festival award-winning film Devils on the Doorstep, directed by Jiang Wen.

As a young man, he worked an assortment of jobs, running a restaurant and clothing shop and even working as a resident singer, among other things. Wu joked that he has worked 200 different jobs just to make a living. He also joined a state-owned theater company but found the life routine tedious.
Sun developed an interest in acting and performances at a young age. He often skipped school to learn breakdancing on the streets and eventually gave up his studies entirely to pursue dancing as a career, eventually performing with a modern dance troupe for several years. Later, Sun became a popular local nightclub singer and host before going into acting. In 1995, Sun attended the Central Academy of Drama, where he graduated in 1997.

Ana Karić (13 May 1941 – 9 October 2014) was a Croatian actress. She started acting in the early 1960s even before graduating from the Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts in 1963. Although primarily a television actress, she also appeared in numerous film and theatre productions. Karić starred in a number of notable films produced in Croatia and directed by Croatian directors such as Ante Babaja, Nikola Tanhofer, Zvonimir Berković, and Krsto Papić.
Enyedi was born in Budapest in 1955. Her father, György Enyedi, was a geographer and economist who played a major role in the long-term development of regional science. She completed a B.A. in economics, studied film studies at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest starting in 1980, and also studied film in Montpellier. In the beginning, Enyedi created conceptual art and was a part of Balázs Béla Studio and the Indigo group.
Zhang graduated from Central Academy of Drama in 2007. He rose to fame for his role as Murong Yunhai in the popular Chinese romance comedy drama Meteor Shower (2009) and its sequel, Meteor Shower II (2010). In 2010, he starred in the Korean-Chinese animal film Hearty Paws 2 alongside Song Joong-ki. In 2011, Zhang hosted Hunan TV's variety program Great Sunday with Meteor Shower co- stars Peer Zhu and Vision Wei.

Born in Budapest in 1948, Koroknay graduated from the Academy of Drama and Film in 1972. He was soon contracted into the National Theatre of Miskolc acting troupe and was a member of the National Theatre of Pécs from 1974 to 1976. Since then, he was a voice actor for a number of films and television shows, including dubbing some of the Dirty Harry films into Hungarian, to name a few. He also took on some small television roles.

He first, between 1983 and 1985, performed at the Hevesi Sándor Theatre in Zalaegerszeg. He then played at the Szigligeti Szolnok Theatre between 1985 and 1986, the Miklós Radnóti Theatre in Budapest between 1986 and 1990, and, between 1990 and 1992, at the Zsigmond Móricz Theatre at Nyíregyháza.
Though she was late for the auditions, Chang Li, the teacher in charge of recruiting, who later became her instructor, saw for herself Qin's talents and offered her another chance. Yet, only after she had finished all of the tests, did Qin learn that she was at the Central Academy of Drama instead of at the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, and enrolled into the school. In 1999, not long before graduation, Qin was cast by Fruit Chan in her first film.
Chen Ailian (; born 1939) is a Chinese dancer. She was born on November 14 according to the lunar calendar in Shanghai, and her ancestral home was Panyu, Guangdong. Her father died in 1950 and her mother in 1951 leaving her at age 11 with just her younger sister. In 1952 she became a student at Central Academy of Drama (中央戏剧学院) in Beijing where she trained in classical Chinese dance and classical ballet with internationally renowned teachers.
Leona became interested in the arts and in sports at an early age. Throughout elementary and high school she was part of a drama group; her first role was in a production of Cinderella. During these years she also sang in a choir, actively engaged in a dance group combining modern and classical dances, and was involved in karate and tennis. By the age of 18 Leona was enrolled in the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb (Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts).
Antonio Nuić (born 26 March 1977 in Sarajevo) is a Bosnian Croatian film director and screenwriter. Nuić had graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Drama Art before beginning his career directing music videos and short films. His first short film Na mjestu događaja (1998) and Vratite im Dinamo (1999) won awards at student film festivals. His next project was Sex, drink and bloodshed (Seks, piće i krvoproliće, 2004), a film in three segments, for which he directed the 23 minutes long Bloodshed segment.
During highschool she was into athletics, and was a member of Croatian national cadet athletic team. She became known as one of the four last finalists in Story Supernova Music Talents, reality show aired on Nova TV in late 2003. In 2004 she released an album called Nera which was a critical and commercial flop. She graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics in 2007, and in 2010 got a degree in drama at the Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb.
Born in Tangshan, Hebei, in a family of military personnel, Jiang relocated to Beijing at the age of ten. In 1973 he attended Beijing No. 72 Middle School, Where he studied alongside Ying Da. In 1980, he entered China's foremost acting school, the Central Academy of Drama, graduating in 1984. After graduation, he was assigned to China Youth Art Institute as an actor. That same year, he started acting both on the stage (with the China Youth Theater) and in films.
Born Ma Xiaoying in 1971 in Jiangxi province, Ma would move to Beijing in the early 1990s. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 1994, and is one of Fifth Generation director Tian Zhuangzhuang's protégés along with Ning Hao. Her debut film, Gone Is the One Who Held Me Dearest in the World, was shot on a small budget. In 2005, Ma Liwen directed You and Me, which drew on her own experiences living in a small courtyard apartment in Beijing.
Ouyang Yuqian and Mei Lanfang in 1956 In March 1949, he was invited by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to attend the first Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He was elected director of the Chinese National Opera Improvement Committee and a Standing Committee member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Ouyang Yuqian became the founding president of Central Academy of Drama in April 1950. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1955.
Wenhui Daily considered the film to be a milestone in the history of Chinese cinema with "stories, connotations, and structures". Due to its patriotic themes and positive portrayal of the Chinese military, it also received high praise from China's state-owned and military-affiliated media. However, the reception is not uniformly positive. Yin Shanshan, a lecturer at the Central Academy of Drama, a top drama school in China, criticized the film as excessively violent and "psychopathic, worthless, without values or logic" on her Sina Weibo account.
Zhang Ming'en graduated from the prestigious Central Academy of Drama. Zvonimir Berković (1 August 1928 – 9 June 2009) was a Croatian film director and screenwriter. Berković had studied film directing at the Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts. His screenwriting career began in the mid-1950s, his most notable work being Nikola Tanhofer's 1958 film H-8, for which he co-authored the screenplay with Tomislav Butorac. He had his directing debut with the 1962 documentary short My Flat (Moj stan), which offered an ironic portrayal of living standards in the socialist-style prefabricated housing projects.
After being divorced from Popp he married American violinist Ida Bieler. His cousins are conductors Ádám Fischer and Iván Fischer. He studied cinematography at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest in the 1950s when he got acquainted with his first wife, Flóra Kádár who took degree in 1953 as actress. Because of the fall of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, he left Hungary for Great Britain but ″he was unable to resume his profession without a union card, so moved instead into stills photography.
Colors of the Blind is a 1997 Chinese drama film directed and co-produced by Chen Guoxing, starring Tao Hong as a blind girl training to become a competitive sprinter. The script was written by Wan Fang. At the time of filming, Tao Hong was a third-year student at the Central Academy of Drama, acting in her second film role. She was chosen for the lead role mainly because of her athletic background, as she had been a professional synchronised swimmer for 10 years.
Ouyang Yuqian (; May 12, 1889 – September 21, 1962) was a Chinese playwright, Peking opera actor and writer, film screenwriter and director, and drama educator. He is considered by drama historians as one of the three founders of Chinese spoken drama, together with Tian Han and Hong Shen. He was also one of the top Peking opera performers, regarded as a southern counterpart of Mei Lanfang. Ouyang Yuqian was the founding president of the Central Academy of Drama from 1950 until his death in 1962.

In 1990, he starred in CCTV's Fortress Besieged, a series that garnered the attention of the whole country in 1990 and established his status as one of China's most popular stars. In 2000, he was awarded the Best Actor Huabiao Awards and the Golden Rooster Awards for his role in Huang Jianzhong's historical drama My 1919, which was about the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.
The daughter of Bogdan Tuszyński, sports reporter and historian, and Halina Przedborska journalist, Agata Tuszynska graduated from the prestigious Academy of Drama and Theatrical Art in Warsaw, majoring in History of Drama. She received her PhD in humanities from the Institute of Arts of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 1987–1992, she worked as a lecturer at the Institute of Literary Research. In 1996–1998, she lectured at the Center for Journalism in Warsaw, and from 2001, taught courses in reportage and literary history at Warsaw University.
Wu Yue (born 25 April 1976) is a Chinese film and television series actor. Some of his more notable roles include Chen Zhen in Huo Yuanjia and Jingwu Yingxiong Chen Zhen (2001); Di Yun in Lian Cheng Jue (2004); Sun Wukong in Journey to the West (2011); Ariq Böke in The Legend of Kublai Khan (2013); and Wan Zonghua in Ip Man 4 (2019). Wu enrolled in the Central Academy of Drama in 1997 and graduated in 2001. Apart from acting, he practises martial arts and holds a National Martial Arts Championship grade in wushu.
Academy of Dramatic Art The need for an academy of drama in Zagreb was first mentioned in the Croatian parliament's 1861 piece of theatre legislation which stipulated that a "school for theatre personnel should be formed in Zagreb". However, the modern-day academy traces its roots to the Croatian Drama School (') which was established by Stjepan Miletić in 1896, more than 30 years after the 1861 law. The school was housed in a building at Republic of Croatia Square, which it occupies today. During its history the school was renamed and reformed several times.
Li was born in Jiawang District of Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province in November 1946, during the Chinese Civil War, with his ancestral home in Wendeng, Shandong. In February 1960, Li entered a local theatre to learn drama, he was transferred to Xuzhou Song and Dance Troupe in 1966, while the Cultural Revolution was launched by Mao Zedong, he learned to dance and sing for ten years. Resumption of University Entrance Examination in 1977, Li he attended Central Academy of Drama in 1978, after graduating from 1981 he taught there.
She continued her study of Chinese language and culture as an undergraduate at Bard College in Annandale, New York, where she majored in Asian Studies and appeared in operatic productions such as Pelléas et Mélisande and L'Orfeo. In her second year of college, Brogan spent a semester pursuing advanced performance studies in the Acting Department of Beijing's prestigious Central Academy of Drama. After graduating from Bard College, Brogan returned to China to pursue her acting career full-time. Fluent in Mandarin, Brogan has also studied French and German.
Alma Prica (born 17 September 1962) is a Croatian actress. She graduated from the Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts in 1985 and then joined the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb (HNK Zagreb) in 1986. Although primarily a theatre actress, she also appeared in numerous film and television productions. Prica received a number of awards throughout her career, including two Golden Arena for Best Actress awards - in 1993 for the portrayal of Dora Pejačević, alongside Rade Šerbedžija, in the biopic Kontesa Dora; and in 2003 for her role in Vinko Brešan's film Witnesses.
He started his career as a child actor at the National Theatre of Szeged, and wanted to study liberal arts, but eventually changed his mind and was admitted to the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. After his graduation in 1981, he joined the National Theatre of Pécs. In 1985 he signed on to the Gergely Csiky Theatre of Kaposvár, which was a leading Hungarian theatre of the time. Kulka considers these years to have a huge impact on his way of acting, and benefitted much from this experience later in his career.
In 2007 Grainytė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with a BA in Art Theory, and in 2009—with an MA in Theatrology. During the period of 2010–2011 Grainytė studied Chinese language at the Central Academy of Drama (Beijing). Marozsán graduated from the Budapest Academy of Drama and Film in 1995 and then became a member of Új Színház ("New Theatre") in Budapest. Her first movie appearance was in the hit Hungarian film, "Béketárgyalás, avagy az évszázad csütörtökig tart" ("Peace negotiations - This century lasts until Thursday"), released in 1989. She has played primarily in Hungarian films, but also appeared on the Cinemax hit action thriller, Sniper 2, with Tom Berenger and Bokeem Woodbine, as well as Gloomy Sunday and One Day Crossing, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2001.
Enyedi in 2017 with her Golden Bear award for the film On Body and Soul Enyedi won the Golden Camera award for My 20th Century at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival. She began teaching at Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest (now known as the University of Theatre and Film Arts) that same year. In 1992, she was a member of the jury at the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival. Her 1994 film Magic Hunter was entered into the main competition at the 51st edition of the Venice Film Festival.
Chang's first dabble into video production was doing stunt choreography for a music video in Taiwan. Her friend, Michael Tan, who was directing this music video, needed the video talents to learn some martial arts and called in Chang to help them out. Shortly after, she joined Jimmy Hung’s action team, working on popular TV series in Taiwan such as My Crossing Hero and Moon River. Chang later moved to Beijing to study acting at Central Academy of Drama and to explore more opportunities in film and television in China.
The Japanese cast members in the film, two of whom came to know Jiang while on exchange in the Central Academy of Drama in the 1980s, initially expressed concerns with the Japanese war crimes depicted in the film. Jiang spent two weeks discussing the issue with them, and showed them documentaries about the war, including some made by Japanese filmmakers. According to Jiang, the Japanese cast members eventually came to trust him. Jiang also used many non-professional actors and actresses in the film, some of whom were also members of the crew.
Li was born in Shanghai, Republic of China in August 1930. In 1947, he was accepted to Nanjing Academy of Drama and graduated in 1949. After graduation, Li went to Beijing and he entered North China University of Technology. When the Korean War broke out in 1950, Li joined the People's Liberation Army, he went to North Korea and served as a writer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Song and Dance Troupe, after the war, Li returned to Beijing, he worked in China Railway Federation of Trade Union () as an editor.

Dong Jie is a dance actress, Qu Ying is a model, Zhou Dongyu is a high school student, Ni Ni is a college student majoring in broadcasting, Wei Minzhi is of an ordinary rural background. Cheung Man-yuk was already famous for her frequent collaboration with director Wong Kar-wai before she starred in Zhang Yimou's films in 2002 Hero. Sun Li was known as a famous Television actress before she appeared in Shadow (2018), Guan Xiaotong was already a famous child actress.
Her album, Chen Hao, bagged the Channel V's the most popular female singer award in 2006. A graduate from the Central Academy of Drama with majors in acting in 1997, more awards seem to come her way as she was again decorated with the Jury Award at the 2009 Seoul TV Festival for her outstanding performance in the film, "Live a Luxurious and Dispassionate Life". She portrays the character of a permissive woman given to gambling and an indulgent life. Chen, in a popularity online poll, was able to collect over one million votes pronouncing her the "Most Beautiful Woman" in China.
Gizi Bajor (born Gizella Beyer) was born on 18 May 1893, in Budapest. Her father, a former mining engineer, and her mother of Italian ancestry were operating Café Báthory on the Kálvin Square, where Bajor first met the nightlife of the city, her later audience. After studying in a girls' school operated by nuns of Institutum Beatae Mariae Virginis, she completed the Academy of Drama in Budapest between 1911-14. Praised by teachers and critics, she was allowed to join the National Theatre immediately after the academy, where she (except for the 1924-25 season, joining the Magyar theatre) remained until her death.

Lady Constance Malleson (24 October 1895 – 5 October 1975) was a British writer and actress (appearing as Colette O'Niel). The daughter of Hugh Annesley, 5th Earl Annesley, Malleson studied at the Royal Academy of Drama Art and was a popular theater performer. During her twenty-year acting career she appeared in numerous productions across the United Kingdom including several productions at prominent theaters in London's West End and in Maurice Elvey's 1918 silent film Hindle Wakes. Before retiring from acting Malleson wrote and produced The Way a three act starring Una O'Connor, Charles Carson, and Moyna Macgill.

Goran Trbuljak (born 21 April 1948 in Varaždin) is a Croatian cinematographer, photographer and conceptual artist. Trbuljak had first studied at the graphic arts department of the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated from in 1972. After spending two years of apprenticeship at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he returned to Croatia and enrolled at the Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts and studied cinematography until he graduated in 1980. His filmmaking career started in 1980 with Ante Babaja's film Lost Homeland (Izgubljeni zavičaj), after which he went on to shoot some 25 feature films, as well as a number of television films and series.

Jia was born on 19 March 1967 in Siping, Jilin, to Jia Fengsen and Chai Xiuling, both retired theater actors from northeast China. He had a younger sister, Wang Tong. Imre Soós was born on 12 February 1930, in Balmazújváros, as the eighth child of a peasant family living in great poverty. Slobodan Trninić (born 14 January 1953) is a Croatian cinematographer. Trninić graduated from the University of Zagreb Academy of Drama Arts in 1979, and his first feature film was the 1991 Yugoslav film Virgina (), directed by Serbian director Srđan Karanović. That same year Trninić shot Rajko Grlić's film Charuga, and in 1993 he shot The Golden Years (; directed by Davor Žmegač), a drama for which he won the Golden Arena for Best Cinematography at the 1993 Pula Film Festival, the Croatian national film awards.
