Nikoi spent time in detention due to his political activities, in 1950, he was detained together with other leading members of the CP.P by the colonial authority over their involvement in the Positive action campaign led by Nkrumah. He was again arrested and imprison by Nkrumah under the Preventive detention Act in 1960. After a year in detention he was released due to his ill health, he had to flee to Nigeria to escape re-detention. He passed away in 1963 whiles in exile.

Adu, began his football career with a colts team in Kumasi Ghana and was scouted by Right to Dream Academy in the 2009 Milo tournament (A football tournament in Ghana for only basic school children). Willmott Dixon was the main contractor undertaking the new building and refurbishment of the school. As the Geneva Convention no longer applied, and because of the atrocities discovered at concentration camps, prisoners' rations were cut and work loads were increased. In 1538 it was suppressed in the Dissolution of the Monasteries. The inventory made of the Priory's goods just beforehand suggest that the monks were living in straitened circumstances by that time (although that may be a fictional pretext for dissolution), but that some provision was still made for the entertainment of visitors to the town. After its suppression, leading townsmen plundered the buildings for stone, lead and other building materials, leaving just two barns, the gate- house, the refectory and a large hall still standing. The House of the Future project was a joint venture between the National Museum of Wales, BBC Wales and Redrow Homes with support from Malcolm Parry, head of the Welsh School of Architecture. Roy whiles away his time by swilling beer with his best friend, Tracy Two Dogs (Eddie Spears), and falling into a romance with Skyla (Clea DuVall), a barmaid at a local tavern, but Roy's short time on the high school gridiron seems to have impressed Gideon Ferguson (Morse), a local character who coaches an unsanctioned high school six-man football team when he is not delivering newspapers or trying to score a gig singing country songs at nearby honky- tonks. Gideon thinks that Roy has potential and asks him to join his team; encouraged by Gideon's belief in him, Roy agrees, and he persuades Tracy to tag along. While playing hardscrabble six-man football helps restore Roy's self-confidence, he finds it does not answer his questions about his future or his relationship with Skyla. When Gideon's overwhelming interest in Roy begins to lend credence to the rumors that Gideon is gay, Roy starts to wonder just why he was asked to join the team.
