The Mumbida Wind Farm, east of Walkaway, is a 55 MW renewable energy project developed by a joint venture of Verve Energy and Infrastructure Capital Group (ICG). Mumbida was completed in 2013 and is now fully operational. Mumbida Wind Farm utilises the 2.5 MW General Electric 2.5xl wind turbines, the first time that this model of wind turbine has been used in Australia. The Mumbida wind farm has been designed to be expanded to 85MW in the future.

McConaughey began working in television commercials, including one for the Austin, Texas daily newspaper, the Austin American-Statesman, which is credited as his first speaking role. The line, "How else am I gonna keep up with my 'Horns?" – a reference to his beloved Texas Longhorns sports teams – gave the local community a look at the young actor before he was cast in Richard Linklater's film Dazed and Confused. In 1992, he was cast as "Joe" in Trisha Yearwood's music video "Walkaway Joe".

The album Intimate was unsuccessful and the previous single "Walkaway Lover" had charted lower than her first two singles, although it did make the top forty. "Joy" has so far been Toni Pearen's last single release. Although Toni Pearen's music career had faltered by early-mid 1995, she did star in that year's successful comedy film All Men Are Liars, in which she played the lead singer of an all-female band as well as contributing some songs to the film's soundtrack.

Subsequently lines also developed from the ports of Fremantle (the port of Perth), Bunbury, Albany and Esperance, mainly for carrying grain and minerals. The line between Fremantle, Perth and Guildford (about 15 km further east) was opened in 1881. In 1893, Perth was connected to the port of Bunbury, 175 kilometres south of Perth. In the following year the Midland Railway Company opened a line from Perth to Walkaway, which connected with the Government line to Geraldton, 424 km north of Perth.

On 23 October 2004 the show included a new feature called the "Walkaway Text Game". The competition was offered to viewers at home to play the text game where they had to answer the question, if a contestant decided to walk home with the cash prize they have got, by choosing the letters 'A, B, C or D' within 30 seconds to a specific mobile number. The viewer who answered the question won £1,000 by having their entries selected randomly. On 9 September 2006, there were some changes.

A further two singles were taken from the album in "Sandstorm" (#8) and "Walkaway" (#9), both top ten hits. A stand-alone single was released in October 1996 titled "Flying", which reached No. 4 on the UK singles chart, giving the band their highest chart position in the UK yet. With their second album Mother Nature Calls, released April 1997 the "rockier material was now sounding looser and cockier in a Stonesy or Faces-ish way and the moodier tracks awash with melancholic atmosphere". Hearts in Armor is the second studio album by country singer Trisha Yearwood. Four of its tracks found spots in the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1992 and 1993: "Wrong Side of Memphis" rose to No. 5, "Walkaway Joe" to No. 2, "You Say You Will" to No. 12, and "Down on My Knees" to No. 19. The album rose to No. 12 in the Billboard country albums chart. The album was released immediately following Yearwood's divorce with her first husband, and has been considered one of her greatest albums.

In early May, Akzo again rejected PPGs bid, citing the deal still undervalued the company, as well as potentially facing antitrust risks, and not addressing other concerns such as "cultural differences". After guest starring on CSI: Las Vegas on CBS, Dayal went on to play Hal, a code-breaking computer analyst, on the AMC series, Rubicon. Dayal also starred in the romantic comedy Walkaway, which explores love and culture set in New York.

The MRWA operated nine A, nine B, five C and two D class locomotives. All were withdrawn from service in the 1950s. B6 was placed on a plinth in a park in Geraldton as a display, but in 2000, was removed due to poor condition and road transported to Midland Railway Workshops for possible restoration by members of Rail Heritage WA. However, the group could not proceed with the work required, and were required to vacate the workshops site to allow the site to be redeveloped, with B6 moving to the Western Australian Rail Transport Museum, Bassendean. It has since moved to Walkaway.

On 15 December 2007, End of Fashion released a new song "Biscit" on the band's official website, Facebook and MySpace pages. In May 2008, the band confirmed on their website that their second album, titled Book of Lies, would be released in September 2008. While End of Fashion released a further two new songs, "Kamikaze" and "Walkaway", on their MySpace page on 27 June 2008, the first single to be released from the album was "Fussy", which reached number 47 in the charts. Vincent Edward "Vince" Melamed is an American keyboardist and songwriter who resides in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in New York, and moved to Los Angeles at an early age. Melamed has appeared with many bands as a keyboardist (Bob Dylan, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Dan Fogelberg, Glenn Frey) and has co- written songs for other artists, including "Walkaway Joe" by Trisha Yearwood, "What Mattered Most" by Ty Herndon, "Tell Me What You Dream" by Restless Heart, "I'll Take That as a Yes (The Hot Tub Song)" by Phil Vassar, "The Shake" by Neal McCoy, and "She'd Give Anything" by Boy Howdy. Melamed has received numerous BMI Million Air awards.

In 2003, Narayan was invited to sing at a small state dinner for the first official visit of President George W. Bush to the UK. Narayan sang for and met Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Family, and President George W. BushThey sang for Bush and the Queen! and Colin Powell. He also sang for then Senator John Kerry's presidential campaign, sponsored by Senator Hillary Clinton,Bombay Dreams: A reckoner as well as elsewhere with Cyndi Lauper, The Band's Garth Hudson and Martha Wainwright. A black comic noir thriller set in the low-rent world of sleazy Wichita strip clubs on Christmas Eve 1979, The Ice Harvest was adapted into a film of the same title in 2005. He followed this in 2002 with The Walkaway, a combined prequel/sequel and spin-off to The Ice Harvest set in Wichita during the 1940s and 1980s. His third novel, Cottonwood, set in Kansas and California during the Western era, was published in 2004.

Narayan starred as the romantic lead in Sudhish Kamath's Good Night Good Morning, which he co-produced, and Shailja Gupta's Walkaway. He gave it the epithet scabrella, a diminutive of the Latin adjective scaber "rough", referring to the leaves. George placed B. scabrella in subgenus Banksia because of its flower spike, section Oncostylis because its styles are hooked, and the resurrected series Abietinae, which he constrained to contain only round-fruited species. He initially thought its closest relative to be Banksia leptophylla, which is found in the same region, and later felt it to be B. lanata, which has similarly coloured inflorescences but longer smooth leaves.

A bank walkaway is a decision by a mortgage lender (a bank) to not foreclose on a defaulted mortgage (when the borrower has ceased to make the payments), or to not complete foreclosure proceedings (to "walk away" from the mortgage). These are sometimes referred to as abandoned foreclosures or stalled foreclosures, though this latter term is also used more broadly when the foreclosure process has stalled for other reasons.
