Facies analysis in the Alacaagzi Formation is suggestive of coastal environments including lacustrine, fluviatial, and fan deposits. Conformably overlaying the Alacaagzi Formation is the Kozlu Formation. The Kozlu contains 19 coal seams totalling 30–32 m.
The church was built in the 14th century at the latest and is the oldest known church in all of Thessaly. Unfortunately the church is not well preserved and many of the ancient icons and paintings have disappeared or been damaged. A small road towards the top of Aigani leads south through the mountains towards a monastery devoted to Nicodemus the Agiorite and continues on to the nearby villages of Krania and Rapsani.

The Jenny's Lantern folly Jenny's Lantern is an area of moorland in north Northumberland, England, taking its name from an 18th-century 'eye-catcher' folly sited towards the top of a small promontory hill above the River Aln. The mountains block the passage of rain-producing weather systems and cast a "shadow" of dryness behind them. The air, without much moisture left, advances across the mountains creating a drier side called the "rain shadow".

The Schynige Platte Railway (, SPB) is a mountain railway in the Bernese Highlands area of Switzerland, which connects the town of Wilderswil, near Interlaken with the famous wildflower gardens of the Schynige Platte. An impressively and varied natural landscape unfolds on the journey, including forests, Alpine pastures and views of the Bernese Oberland. Towards the top of the line, there are also views of the imposing peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The line opened, using steam traction, in May 1893, and was electrified in 1914.

They decide that traveling in search of people towards the top of the mountain (where they see a structure) would be a better medical option than heading back home, so they continue towards the mountaintops.
The back margin of the fenestra slopes backwards, like LFGT LDM-L10 and Dilophosaurus but unlike KMV 8701. Further behind, the orbit is keyhole-shaped, with a longer back rim compared to the front rim. The infratemporal fenestra is roughly trapezoidal, with a long axis oriented upwards and backwards towards the top of the rear of the skull. On the top surface of the skull, the rounded supratemporal fenestra is unusually small, with a diameter equivalent to only about half of the length on the top of the skull behind the level of the orbit.
The stem of the trees had a unifacial vascular cambium, contrasting with the bifacial vascular cambium of modern trees. Though the bifacial cambium of modern trees produces both secondary phloem and xylem, the unifacial cambium of Lepidodendron trees produced only secondary xylem. As the trees aged, the wood produced by the unifacial cambium decreased towards the top of the plant such that terminal twigs resembled young Lepidodendron stems. The stems and branches of the trees contained little wood as compared to modern trees, with the majority of mature stems consisting of a massive cortical meristem.
There are many seams or mines of coal found here. Dukinfield coal was known to be the best for heating and steam generation. The Stac Fada Member is a distinctive layer towards the top of the Mesoproterozoic Bay of Stoer Formation, part of the Stoer Group (lowermost Torridonian Supergroup) in northwest Scotland. This rock unit is generally thick and is made of sandstone that contains accretionary lapilli and many dark green glassy fragments of mafic composition. Evidence for a meteorite impact in the area of the Minch or near Lairg has been published and refined in a series of studies from 2008 to 2019. The unit dates to approximately 1.2 billion years ago.
An example of modern Czech architecture, the building is divided into a pair of towers which are to be linked at two-thirds of their height, above which they continue upwards separately. This is allowing for the tower to expand in size as it rises whilst minimising its ground appropriation, leaving space for terraces around the outside of the building. When the stems trail, they root where the leaf connects to the stem, called the "node". The stems are woody on lower parts of the plant and become hirsute, meaning hairy, towards the top of the plant. The branches tend to spread wide, and range from pink to a dark reddish in color.

This is because stronger bonds form between atoms towards the top of the reactivity series, and strong bonds break less easily. While nuclear pasta has not been observed in a neutron star, its phases are theorized to exist in the inner crust of neutron stars, forming a transition region between the conventional matter at the surface and the ultradense matter at the core. Towards the top of this transition region, the pressure is great enough that conventional nuclei will be condensed into much more massive semi-spherical collections. These formations would be unstable outside the star, due to their high neutron content and size, which can vary between tens and hundreds of nucleons. From 7.5 to 18 m tall, the trunks are clustering and armed with small spines, usually with stilt roots at the base. Formations from this basin include Tera, Oncala, Urbion, Enciso, Olivan and Escucha.
A small member of the Eagle Ford that consists of a thin limestone unit between shales is known as the Kamp Ranch. A small regressive highstand occurred to have formed this carbonate layer towards the top of the Eagle Ford, which is known due to the high energy traits it displays such as ripple marks from storm generated waves and interbedded carbonaceous siltstones. The overall thickness of the Eagle Ford Group undivided is around 200–300 feet thick. Sea level rose even higher in this massive transgressive event, which helped form the 300–500 ft thick Austin Chalk, around ≈89-85mya.
The rear dorsal vertebrae in Mierasaurus are concave on both ends (amphicoelous), whereas the opposite (opisthicoelous) is true for Mierasaurus, Camarasaurus, and titanosauriforms. Mierasaurus does not have the prespinal laminae (ridges on the front of the spine) present in the rear dorsal vertebrae of Moabosaurus, and the articular process known as the hyposphene is triangular in Mierasaurus while it is rectangular in Moabosaurus. However, Mierasaurus shares with Moabosaurus dorsal neural spines with spinodiapophyseal laminae that bifurcate towards the top of each spine, with one branch extending forwards and one backwards. The caudal (tail) vertebrae are concave in front and convex behind (procoelous), as in Turiasaurus, Moabosaurus, Losillasaurus, and the Titanosauria.
Overlying the limestone are the rocks of the Marros Group, formerly known as the Millstone Grit Series. Though present elsewhere in the region, the Twrch Sandstone Formation is absent in Gower, leaving the Aberkenfig and Bishopston Mudstone formations as the only two within this group represented locally. The Bigsby vibrato unit is installed on the top of the guitar and works in conjunction with a 'rocking bridge', not a 'roller bridge' as some may assume. The arm of the Bigsby is spring-loaded and attached to a pivoting metal bar, around which the strings of the guitar are installed. In the neutral or unused position, the pressure of the spring counterbalances the pull of the strings, resulting in constant pitch when the strings are played. When the arm of the Bigsby is pushed down towards the top of the guitar, the bridge rocks forward causing the strings to loosen, lowering their pitch.

The rock shelter (Ikeawuwo) is located in Umunambu village, a few kilometers north of Ndiocha village. The rock shelter is formed of outcrop of sedimentary rocks it is colossal and over towering in size. This shelter possesses spectacular rocky land scape that continues to excite the imagination of any visitor to the site. The site is located towards the top of a rather steep, rocky hill and because of the nature of the stone debris which indicated that some stone tools were probably manufactured there; it raised the interest of an Archaeologist, Professor D. Hartle who then conducted an excavation at the site in 1964.

Garrod did not keep all the excavated material and she only kept those pieces that were topologically informative.
A snuffbox was made from some of the remaining timber in 1822 and presented to King George IV. In early 1830 it was described as still sanding standing on a raised platform in a mossy area of swampland, though badly affected by the removal of timber. The stump stood at just in height, though it had sprouted new growth towards the top of this section. There were no other trees nearby, these having been cleared, and the oak stood near to a corduroy road. With the timber above ground growing in short supply the souvenir hunters turned to digging up the platform to get to the tree's roots.

A television series loosely based on the Riverworld saga went into production for the Sci- Fi channel in 2001 but only the feature-length pilot episode Riverworld was completed.

The Mount of Olives What lays north of here belongs to Mount Scopus. On the south-eastern slope of the Mount of Olives lies the Palestinian Arab village of al-Eizariya, identified with the ancient village of Bethany mentioned in the New Testament; a short distance from the village centre, towards the top of the mount, is the traditional site of Bethphage, marked by a Franciscan church.
The lower reaches of the Ochsen valley, which branches off towards the Piz Buin in the south, are submerged in the Silvretta reservoir which dominates the Bierlerhöhe. In order to control the water discharge of the Ill, the reservoir has been extended from the Ochsen valley towards the top of the pass, and is secured with dams in both directions. The name Bielerhöhe refers to two locations: the two kilometers of relatively flat landscape between two steep inclines along with the small rise on the northern flank of the pass (2,071m) over which a hiking trail leads, as well as the highest point of the road (2,032m). The original Bielerhöhe (2,021m) has also disappeared under the dam.
The domes were constructed in circular rings, with the sizes decreasing towards the top of the dome and, because of this, it is possible that elaborate centering may not have been needed. Collapsed remains of some domes has revealed a layer of brick beneath the external stone, which could have supported and aligned the heavier stone during construction. Although the earliest stone domes do not have them, horizontal connections between the ashlar stone blocks were introduced in the fourteenth century, such as those made of teak wood in a dovetail shape used in the Mausoleum of Farag Ibn Barquq. Glacis, Mont-Louis Fortress, Pyrénées-Orientales, France Early modern European fortresses were so constructed as to keep any potential assailant under the fire of the defenders until the last possible moment. On natural, level ground, troops attacking any high work have a degree of shelter from its fire when close up to it; the glacis consists of a slope with a low grade inclined towards the top of the wall. This gave defenders a direct line of sight into the assaulting force, allowing them to efficiently sweep the field with fire from the parapet. Additionally, but secondarily, the bank of earth would shield the walls from being hit directly by cannon fire.
In Rosado's 1994 Flying Girl she combines surrealism with realism by painting a mansion surrounded by flowers with a girl in a yellow dress flying towards the top of the mansion. According to Robert Henkes, the girl in the yellow dress presents the element of surrealism because if she were not to be in the painting, the scene would look realistic. Within the field of red flowers surrounding the house is a yellow bird, perched on top of one of the flowers near the front of the house. The identical row of windows on the sides of the house remain consistent in size and may be seen in the era of the Italian Renaissance.
The Campo Palme (named after the Palm trees there) are divided into rectangles, the result of two additions made in 1858 and 1906. This area is one of the least well-kept parts of the cemetery, which has resulted in several corpses being transferred to the cemetery of San Michele. To the east, towards the top of the cemetery, is the old section, divided into six squares, lined by vaults. One square was allocated to non-Catholic burials and many of the graves were moved here that occupy the former non-Catholic cemetery of Bonaria, known as the "Cimitero degli Inglesi" (English Cemetery) which, until 1895, was located in Via XX Settembre.
The detachment itself consists of a thick sequence of highly deformed rocks with both lithological banding and foliation parallel to the top of the zone. At the base of the zone, rocks of the Western Gneiss Region become progressively more reworked and more heavily deformed upwards, passing from protomylonite to mylonite. Towards the top of the zone it becomes an ultramylonite before that in turn becomes overprinted by brittle deformation structures, including veins of pseudotachylyte, with a thin zone of cataclasite marking the top. The base of the zone contains eclogites but the metamorphic grade of the mylonites decrease upwards from medium-grade (amhibolite facies), to low-grade (greenschist facies) near the top.
Plant fossils in these rocks are dominated by the conifers Lebachia and Walchia, along with smaller plants like the ferns Dichophyllum, the seed ferns Alethopteris, Neuropteris, and Taeniopteris, the cycad Spermopteris, the horsetail Annularia, and the gymnosperm Cordaites. At the top of these rocks is a layer of marine bivalve fossils measuring thick, which were likely deposited at high tide. Collectively, this implies that Kenomagnathus lived on a coastal plain in a coniferous forest. Towards the top of the Rock Lake Member, the rock layers become more irregular, and fossils of land animals and plants are increasingly replaced by fossils of marine invertebrates, implying that estuarine waters gradually flooded the region as sea levels rose.
On the northeast corner of this interchange is Lime Ridge Mall, while Thomas B. McQuesten Park lies on the southeast corner. East of these, the route once again lies between subdivisions, with Upper Sherman Avenue crossing the freeway midway to the interchange with Upper Gage Avenue. Netherfield is a housing estate located opposite Milton Keynes General Hospital, it also has a large shopping district with various shops. The estate was largely designed by Dixon, Jones, Gold and CrossThe architects and architecture of London, p428 Kenneth Allinson around 1971, and is essentially modernist; it comprises several long parallel terraces, designed around the landform so that the roofline remains level: homes towards the top of the slopes are single storey; those at the bottom are three-storey. The choice of prefabricated construction materials was partly a consequence of a shortage of bricks in the UK at the time. Milton Keynes Council has gradually been renovating the estate, adding a pitched roof when funds permit.

Just before reaching the island, however, a storm rips the ship apart; Jim, Gran, Baboo, and the baby's self-appointed guardian, the walrus Otto, arrive just after Silver, his crew, and Kathy, now a prisoner of the pirates. In exchange for her friends' safety, Kathy offers to lead Silver to the exact location of the treasure. Silver, however, plans on double- crossing both Jim and his own crew to get the treasure for himself. While Otto holds off his fellow pirates (who soon surrender after realizing that Silver wouldn't share with them anyway), Jim chases after Silver as he and his monkey helmsman, Spider, are climbing towards the top of an extinct volcano where the treasure is hidden.

The seeds in Shirleya fruits develop near the tops of the fruit gynoecium with wings extending down towards the gynoecium base, while in Lagerstroemia the seeds develop in reverse position, with the wing extending from the seed towards the top of the gynoecium. These differences lead Pigg and DeVore to place the fossils in a new genus.
Parma Associazione Calcio once again troubled the top teams in both Italy and Europe, but had to settle for just the curtain-raising UEFA Super Cup as silverware in its ambitious ascent towards the top of Italian football. It almost repeated the victory in the 1992–93 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup by reaching another final, but lost out to Arsenal. Super Joe is armed with a assault rifle (which has unlimited ammunition) as well as a limited supply of hand grenades. While Joe can fire his gun in any of the eight directions that he faces, his grenades can only be thrown vertically towards the top of the screen, irrespective of the direction Joe is facing. Unlike his assault rifle bullets, grenades can be thrown to clear obstacles, and explosions from well-placed grenades can kill several enemies at once.
In 1993, while playing with the men's senior team of Höttur, he coached their women's team, helping the team come first in the second tier and achieve promotion. Alongside working as a dentist in Vestmannaeyjar he started coaching the town's women's senior team, ÍBV, guiding them towards the top of the Icelandic women's Premier league, gaining places in the table each year. In 2002, he was hired as assistant coach for the men's team of ÍBV, being their coach for the last games of the season after the coach was fired. Towards the top of the scale, awards are given to games that average a B- or higher from the three individual grade: "Silver" awards for games averaging a grade of B- to B+; "Gold" awards for games averaging a grade of A- or A; and "Platinum" awards for games with three A+ grades. The current letter grade system replaced a long-standing 0–10 scale in the April 2008 issue. In that system, Silver went to a game with an average rating from 8 to 9, Gold to a game reviewed at 9 to 10, and Platinum to a game that received nothing but 10 ratings. In common with the rest of Brighton, the area has a temperate climate: its Köppen climate classification is Cfb. It is characterised by mild, calm weather with high levels of sunshine, sea breezes and a "healthy, bracing air" attributed to the low level of tree cover. According to a contemporary newspaper report, an accident, involving the death of three men and serious injuries to two others, occurred on the evening of 20 September 1906 on the private railway of the Main Colliery Company, by means of which coals are conveyed from Bryncoch to the wharves on Neath River. Tank bottom weights provide a much shorter lever arm, so need to be a much larger proportion of the total ballast, but do not interfere with propulsive efficiency the way ankle weights do. There are not really any other convenient places below the weight belt to add trim weights, so the most effective option is to carry the main weights as low as necessary, by using a suitable harness or integrated weight pocket buoyancy compensator which actually allows the weights to be placed correctly, so there is no need for longitudinal trimming. A less common problem is found when rebreathers have a counterlung towards the top of the torso. In this case there may be a need to attach weights near the counterlung.
Scarponi was one of a lead group of six riders that remained on the Giau Pass; he was dropped towards the top of the climb along with Rigoberto Urán, but they both made it back into the lead group on the descent into Cortina d'Ampezzo. On stage 19 finishing on the , Scarponi tried to breach the group of overall contenders on the final climb, but was unable to do so. He ultimately finished the stage in fourth place, but moved up to third overall. The tower will also feature a large, roughly diameter outdoor balcony, known as the sky terrace, on one side of the building for private use by the penthouse floor at level 157; it is not the observation deck. It was originally intended to be a helipad, but it was revealed to be an unsuitable landing environment by helicopter pilots. The lower air density, exacerbated by the thin desert atmosphere, will cause the outdoor air temperature towards the top of the tower to be lower than the ground level air, which will provide natural cooling. At 49° 47′ North, the Ice Dogs were the most northern junior A team in Ontario until 2008, further north than the Abitibi Eskimos of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. In the 2008–09 season, the Sioux Lookout Flyers joined the league and at 50° 06′ took over as Ontario's most northerly junior hockey club until they folded in 2013. The Ice Dogs are one of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL)'s charter teams and has historically been one of the top teams in the league, having won the first league championship and finished towards the top of the standings in most seasons. The Ice Dogs play at the Dryden Memorial Arena and have games broadcast on CKDR, Dryden's local radio station.
At the bottom, the postorbital tapers to a rounded point, and articulates with the backward-projecting and overlapping postorbital process of the jugal bone; at the back, it also tapers, and has a narrow groove that would have articulated with the squamosal bone. The distance between these two articulations is rather short, suggesting that most of the bottom of the postorbital would have been hidden in life. The squamosal bone itself bears a branch that stretches towards the top of the skull. Although it is poorly preserved, the half-moon-shaped postfrontal bone would have extended from a process from the postorbital up to the level of the suture between the frontal and parietal, overlapping the postorbital when viewed from the top.
Inocybe alnea and I. ochracea, regarded by some as the same species, can also be distinguished from I. saliceticola by the presence of protruding nodules on the spores. DNA analysis confirmed that they were separate from I. saliceticola, and, in any case, it is possible that they do not grow in association with willow. I. hirculus has been recorded growing near I. saliceticola, but can be differentiated both macroscopically and microscopically; the mushrooms of I. hirculus have a much more fibrillose cap, and the stem does not join a bulb, while the spores are larger. Macroscopically, I. rivularis, which could grow in similar habitats to that of I. saliceticola, produces larger mushrooms and has powder only towards the top of the stem.
Selene Bahadoor was a resident of the Retreat at Twin Lakes, who works in IT for a hospital. She was at home with relatives and friends on the night of the shooting. She testified that she heard noises outside, moving from the south (left) towards the north (right) towards the top of the T (where two sidewalks met), and went to her window and did not see anything, but moved to her sliding glass door and saw "figures and arms flailing" and that two people appeared to be standing, but it was too dark to identify them or their clothes. She said she heard something that sounded like "No" and then went back to her kitchen to turn off the stove, heard a shot, and then returned to the sliding door.
In a season that saw only four drivers contest the entire championship, it was Chinese driver Martin Cao who won the championship, driving for Fortec Motorsports. Cao started the season with a run of seven successive second-place finishes to a series of drivers, but his consistent finishing kept him towards the top of the championship standings. Cao took his first win at Thruxton, and went on to take four overall wins – plus a further two class wins behind drivers who were ineligible to score championship points – in the final three race meetings, to ultimately win the championship title by two points, ahead of team-mate Matt Rao. Rao won five races over the course of the season, with one fewer podium finish over the season, compared to Cao.
However they were unable to progress further due to the lack of facilities at their ground so upon formation of AFC Newbury they became the new club's First Team. AFC Newbury quickly achieved promotion after finishing runners-up in 1996/97 and winning the League Cup – defeating run-away league champions Moneyfields 2–0 in the final. Upon joining the Wessex League they soon became a strong force, twice finishing third and regularly found towards the top of the table in what was a tough league. After finishing third in 1998/99 the club applied for promotion to the Southern League but were unsuccessful. The club continued to thrive with a Reserve team competing in the Combination of the Wessex League, winning the Combination Cup in 2002/03.
He was again a substitute for his side's League Cup match before he made his first start the following weekend as Bournemouth defeated Peterborough United 5–1 and a week later he grabbed his first Bournemouth goal with a penalty in a 3–0 win against Tranmere Rovers. However, Symes soon suffered a shoulder injury, which required specialist treatment and kept him out for nearly a month. With Bournemouth's form pushing them towards the top of the league, Symes admitted he would have to prove himself again to manager Eddie Howe. Bournemouth, however, suffered a number of injuries to strikers, and they risked bringing Symes back early. The Bobcat was a relatively typical post-war APC design, with the engine located at the front, infantry area with rear-exit doors at the back, and a crew of two between the two sections. In the case of the Bobcat, the engine was located behind a large access door mounted in an almost vertical glacis that was tilted slightly forward, giving the front of the vehicle a slab appearance. The glacis ended just below the top of the vehicle, where it met a sharply sloped deck angled back towards the top of the vehicle. The two operators, driver and commander/gunner, were housed under hemispherical cupolas with a ring of vision blocks offering relatively good all-round vision except to the rear, where the infantry area was raised and blocked the view.

An 18th-century folly, presumably built by the Bolton estate, is sited towards the top of the Jenny's Lantern area; it takes the form of a ruined shepherd's cottage, rectangular in plan with door and windows on the south wall, a complete westerly wall, but stepped and ruined towards the east wall. Six-banded armadillo painted by Frans Post, 1637-1644 Skull of a six-banded armadillo The six-banded armadillo is the largest in Euphractinae, which also contains the pichi and hairy armadillos; in fact, it is the third largest armadillo after the giant armadillo and the greater long-nosed armadillo. This armadillo is typically between in head-and- body length, and weighs . The carapace is pale yellow to reddish brown (though not a dark shade of brown or black), marked by scales of equal length, and scantily covered by buff to white bristle-like hairs – unlike the hairy armadillos, that are covered by dense hairs. The shell narrows to 70 to 80 percent of its original width towards the top of the head, which is covered by plates arranged in a definite pattern.
The ground floor lobby of The Center Public Open Space: Cheung Fat Garden The Center is notable for its arrangement of hundreds of neon lights arranged as bars in increasing frequency towards the top of the building, which slowly scroll through the colours of the spectrum at night. This distribution is thought to improve chances of cross-fertilization, as pollen is unlikely to be blown vertically upward within the crown of one plant, but can drift slowly upward in the wind, blowing from low on one plant to higher on another plant. In some conifers, male cones additionally often grow clustered in large numbers together, while female cones are more often produced singly or in only small clusters. A further characteristic arrangement of pines is that the male cones are located at the base of the branch, while the female at the tip (of the same or a different branchlet).

Behind a Hart Trophy-caliber season from club captain Ryan Getzlaf, solid depth scoring, a steady if unspectacular defence and solid goaltending in the form of Jonas Hiller and rookie Frederik Andersen, many felt that the Ducks were primed to be a top contender for the Stanley Cup. The Ducks remained towards the top of the NHL standings for the entire season, ending the regular season with a franchise-best 54–20–8 record (116 points) and eventually finishing one point behind the Boston Bruins in the race for the Presidents' Trophy, awarded to the team finishing the regular season with the best record. Anaheim faced the eighth-seeded Dallas Stars in the Western Conference quarter-finals and were victorious in six games, marking the first time since 2009 that the Ducks had won a playoff series.
As a cricketer he was a right-handed lower-order batsman and a right-arm fast- medium bowler whose action was described in one report as "somewhat awkward". He played for Warwickshire in a few matches in each of the 1908, 1909 and 1910 seasons, but did not appear at all in 1911, when the team unexpectedly won the County Championship. He played more regularly in the three seasons leading up to the First World War and had occasional days of triumph: against Worcestershire in 1912, he took eight first innings wickets for just 29 runs, the best bowling of his career. A more modern scrolling technique is using the two-finger scroll on a Mac trackpad. In this technique, the tips of two fingers from the same hand are placed on the surface of the trackpad and moved accordingly. If the user has their trackpad scrolling direction set to “natural,” moving their two fingers toward the top of the trackpad will cause the page to scroll up towards the top of the page; conversely, moving their fingers toward the bottom of the trackpad will cause the page to scroll down towards the bottom. The following year he was only seventh at the Big 12 indoors, but performed much better outdoors: he came third at the Big 12 meet with a personal record of 13.86 seconds then improved to 13.65 seconds to make the final at the NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship, where he came seventh. Osaghae edged towards the top of the college scene at the start of 2008. " The scene, Map Reading offers a contrast to the dark earth of the hospital and military camps in the other panels and shows a company of soldiers resting by a roadside paying little attention to the only officer depicted among the hundreds of figures Spencer painted for the Chapel. Bilberry bushes fill the background of the painting, making the scene appear green and Arcadian which seems to prefigure the paradise promised in the Resurrection of the Soldiers on the end, alter, wall. Spencer imagined the Resurrection of the Soldiers taking place outside the walled village of Kalinova in Macedonia with soldiers rising out of their graves and handing in identical white crosses to a Christ figure towards the top of the wall.
