The Anomalies of Artificial Origin is the second full-length album by Russian death metal band Abominable Putridity.

The band signed with the label Brutal Bands in 2011, recording a 3 tracks demo simply called as Promotional CD 2011. In 2012, Abominable Putridity released their second album, The Anomalies of Artificial Origin. As of 2015, guitarist Sergey Balayan confirmed via his personal Facebook profile that Abominable Putridity are in the works of a third studio album featuring the same lineup of The Anomalies of Artificial Origin, he also confirmed that Anomalies will be reissued featuring remixed/remastered tracks. Later that same year, Unique Leader Records announced that Abominable Putridity had signed to their label and are working on their third full-length.

Abominable Putridity was formed in 2003 by Alexander and Pavel originally under the name "Devoured Entrails". After a year had passed, the vocalist, Vladimir, joined the band, and in 2004, Andrey K., the former bassist of Vermicular Decay, joined Abominable Putridity. In 2006, the band recorded their first demo, which was released in the month of May, 2006. Vladimir left the band five months later, and was replaced by Cameron Argon.

Shadow Puncher is influenced by several bands, most notably Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Dimmu Borgir, Broken Flesh, Abominable Putridity, Rings of Saturn, Antestor, and Grave Declaration. However, reviews have compared him to Dominator Et Sanctum, and Abated Mass of Flesh.

Abominable Putridity is a Russian slam death metal band originally from Moscow. The band has released two albums; In the End of Human Existence and The Anomalies of Artificial Origin. They are signed to the California indie label Unique Leader Records and are primarily known for their extensive use of 'destructive' slams and grooves in their guitarwork.

Carey added that the "efficacy of bleeding, in all cases not attended with putridity, was great." Rush taught the African-American nurses how to bleed and purge patients.

The real world during Li Ruzhen's time was rather a nation of contention that is opposed to the idea the "Comity of Nation" which suggests: "rather yielding than arguing" (好让不争/好讓不爭). Under the author's imagination, there is no putridity; no bribes between officials; citizens are all amicable and live a joyful life under a steady and rich government.

The novel was well received by critics. The A.V. Club praised it as "beautifully balancing putridity, profanity, and poignancy", and Publishers Weekly appreciated its "relentless dark humor blended with occasional tragedy". The Wall Street Journal's reviewer characterized the novel as "macabre, gruesome, foul-mouthed and much more complex than the usual vampire-and-zombie routine". In January 2012, it was named a finalist for the 2011 Kitschies Red Tentacle award.

Having trouble with their line up, Abominable Putridity went back and forth between band members before releasing their second album. It was recorded at Cube-Zero Studio in the year of 2010, and was finalized at Anthropocide Studio a year later. Big Chocolate would have been the vocalist on the record, had it not been for Matti Way making his replacement merely weeks before writing for the album took place.

The band also self-produced a music video for their track "Soiling The Fields of Putridity" which was released around the same time as the album. Critics familiar with the band considered Casting Ruin the bands finest work. It was reviewed by the prominent metal webzine Metalsucks as well as featured in Zero Tolerance and Terrorizer magazines. Further down the road in 2014, the band embarked on a European tour as direct support of Ulcerate and Wormed.

The album received positive feedback from several sources. Shortly following the release of Ingesting Putridity, Visceral Disgorge began making appearances at metal festivals throughout the United States and abroad. These festivals included Maryland Deathfest(IX,XIV), Netherlands Deathfest, Frankfurt Deathfest, Las Vegas Deathfest IV, Puerto Rico Metal Demolition Fest, New York Deathfest, New Jersey Deathfest, Philadelphia Infest, Delaware Deathfest, Brutality reigns fest, Louisvillie Death Fest, and DeLand Metal Fest among other festivals. In 2014, guitarist Steve Rosenzweig died forcing the band to find the replacement Charlie Marvel.

Abominable Putridity performed for several small gigs and metal festivals in the Moscow region; in one of those gigs, the band met Jim of Lacerated Enemy Records, who offered them their first record contract. During the recording sessions, Argon left the band and was temporarily replaced by Andrey. The first full-length album to be published by Lacerated Enemy Records was called In the End of Human Existence, released in 2007. In January 2009, vocalist Matti Way (who is also the current vocalist of Pathology and the former vocalist of Disgorge, Cinerary and Liturgy) joined the band.

Abated Mass of Flesh is project that was started in 2011 by Zack Plunkett. For the first year he performed all the instruments and vocals and released an EP titled, Moth and Rust in the Temple of Putridity on July 6, 2011. In 2012, Zack hired his brother Matthew to take over Vocals and his friend Logan Hayworth to play Bass. In January 2013, Zack worked at a store and found Drummer Kade Dodson when he came in one day and commented on Zack's shirt, a T-shirt that had the name of the Brutal death metal band, Dying Fetus.

Visceral Disgorge originally formed in early 2007, coming from the remains of a former death metal band known as Eaten Alive. Wanting to go in a heavier direction than their previous band, Travis Werner and Eric Vieraitis began forming the foundation of what would later be known as Visceral Disgorge. In late 2009, Visceral Disgorge recorded a single demo track which received the attention that resulted in the signing of a record deal with Japanese death metal label Amputated Vein Records. Soon after, they prepared for the worldwide release in 2011 of their debut album Ingesting Putridity, which showcased the graphic illustrations of Japanese artist Toshihiro Egawa for the album artwork.

Other critics were less kind; The Spectator considered it "a disgusting combination of voluptuousness and loathsome putridity—glowing in colour and wonderful in execution, but conceived in the worst possible taste". In October 1837 Etty met again with Daniel Grant who, without having seen the painting, offered £250 (about £ in today's terms) for Sirens and for Samson and Delilah, also exhibited by Etty that year. Etty, poor at business and always reluctant to keep unsold paintings in his studio, sold both paintings to Grant for well below their true worth.

The work was completed in 1837 and exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts later that year, and hung in the Academy's new building at Trafalgar Square (now the National Gallery).
