Worsley Old Hall is a public house and restaurant in Worsley, Greater Manchester, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

The body of Martha Tabram was discovered at this location on 7 August 1888 On 6 August 1888, the night before her murder, Tabram was drinking ale and rum with another prostitute, Mary Ann Connelly, known as "Pearly Poll", and two soldiers in a public house, the Angel and Crown, close to George Yard Buildings. The four of them paired off, left the public house and separated at approximately 11:45 p.m.; each woman with her own client.

During the 1990s the track was lifted and the station became a public house. The former track bed was not to be built on, in case British Rail decide it wanted to rebuild the line. On 19 February 1943, Kastein was scheduled to meet fellow CS-6 member in The Crown public house, Delft. However, Wapperom had been arrested by the SD Rotterdam in Utrecht, where a subsequent search of his rooms found a notebook with details of the meeting with Kastein. Compromised, Wapperom agreed to co-operate, but the SD also tied a broomstick down his trousers to ensure that he could not escape. After entering the public house as agreed at 10:00, Kastein was arrested.

The Sloop Inn is an inn in St Ives, Cornwall, England, located on the wharf. It is one of the oldest inns in Cornwall, the public house is dated to "circa 1312" although the present building was built in the 17th or 18th century. Made of granite rubble, with a slate roof, the Sloop Inn was the favourite haunt of Victorian artists including Louis Grier and many of his paintings hung there in earlier years. Today the public house is a traditional bar, with low ceilings but with an outside decking area.

The Coach and Horses public house, Bath Road, Midgham The village has a public house: The Coach and Horses. Midgham has a village green which is run by the Parish Council and a village hall run by its own committee. A variety of trees forms a sort of arboretum at Midgham Green in the north of the area. In December 1870 George Carter was successful in his application for a licence for a second public-house at Oxley, called the Stockman's Hotel.Hotel Publicans Licences, NSW Government Gazettes; Pastoral Times, 23 April 1870, p. 2; 3 December 1870, p. 2. George Carter remained publican of the Stockman's Hotel at Oxley until 1872 when he apparently closed his establishment to carry on the nearby Paika Creek Hotel at Paika Creek. Built in the 18th century as a pair of cottages before becoming a public house, the Square and Compass got its name in 1830 from a landlord who had been a stonemason. The building includes a museum of fossils and other local artefacts and the pub is one of only nine nationally that has been included in every edition of CAMRA's Good Beer Guide. In 2015, the landlord built a sculpture of tree trunks, dubbed Woodhenge.

The Red Lion Inn was a historic inn located near the Red Lion Bridge just outside Philadelphia in Andalusia, Bensalem Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The inn, the first public house in the area, was located on the Kings Highway (now Bristol Pike) at the bridge across Poquessing Creek. In 1730, Philip Amos petitioned the court to keep a public house of entertainment "near Poquessing creek, on the highway from Philadelphia to Bristol, that being The Red Lion Inn". Shire Brook rises as an underground spring at a height of above sea level beneath the Red Lion public house in the Gleadless Townend residential area at . The Brook runs in a culvert from beneath the public house before emerging into the open on land between Seagrave Crescent and Lister Crescent. It initially flows NE going beneath housing to emerge on the Jaunty Park recreation and sports grounds as an insignificant and rubbish strewn stream running at the rear of the Birley Vale Industrial Estate. It is then joined by an unnamed stream which originates from a spring in Hollinsend Park.

The No. 63 bus connects Little Weighton to villages in the local area as well as Beverley and Hull In 1823 Little Weighton was in the civil parish of Rowley and the Wapentake of Harthill. Occupations at the time included six farmers and yeomen, a shoemaker, a blacksmith, a tailor, a shopkeeper, and the landlord of The Black Horse public house. A carrier operated between the village and Beverley and Hull once a week.
The village green is bordered by a tall white clapboard mill with working water wheel, the parish church, several houses and a public house, The Rose Inn. There was once another public house, 'The Hooden Horse', in The Street adjoining the village green, known until the 1950s as 'The Swan', this closed in 1979. The practice of hoodening in the village was carried out by labourers who went from door to door, collecting funds, sometimes aggressively, for their Christmas festivities. The hoodening tradition has since ended, but today is immortalised in some of the routines performed by Morris dancers.
Abbots Oak is a hamlet near Coalville Leicestershire, comprising a cluster of dwellings near Warren Hills, either side of the road between Whitwick and Copt Oak. There is a public house here called The Bull's Head, which claims the distinction of being the highest public house in Leicestershire, at seven hundred and eighty seven feet above sea level. The hamlet also contains the Abbots Oak Country House, which is a Grade II listed building. The house is built of Charnwood granite and has an imposing tower with a fine wooden staircase; its listing description ascribes a mid-nineteenth century origin.
The Falcon The Falcon is a Grade II listed public house at 2 St John's Hill, Battersea, London. The current Falcon inn was built in the late 19th century as a purpose-built hotel, with a pub on the ground floor, and is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. It has entered the Guinness World Records for having the longest bar counter in a public house. The history of The Falcon can be traced back to 1733 and it is likely that an inn stood at the site before that time.
Also on this same allotment at the corner of George and Globe Streets a two-storey stone and brick house and store was erected. The five roomed house had "every convenience". In 1861 this building was used as a "Bowling Alley" managed by William Ogilvie. In 1871 in the tenements erected by Underwood, a public house was opened called the "Nil Desperandum Hotel". By 1882 three two storey tenements were erected between the butcher shop and the brick and stone shop on the north side of the Public House, now known as the New York Hotel.
It has partial or full cover on three sides of the pitch, terracing on four sides and seating along the centre of one side, plus a public house. The ground is named after the Butcher's Arms public house, whose landlord in 1892 instigated the formation of Droylsden FC to play on land behind the pub, which became the ground. After the Second World War the lease of the Butchers Arms was sold to Belle Vue F.C., who renamed themselves Droylsden United. And that club took over playing at the ground, forcing Drolysden to move to the nearby Moorside Trotting Stadium.
It was connected to a public house nearby, known as "The Crown", by a tunnel where prisoners would be led to and from the court house and manor. The tunnel is now blocked up on either end of both the manor and public house, but the tunnel still exists to this day. The manor house was bought by the National Deposit Friendly Society in 1921, for use as a convalescent home. The house was requisitioned in 1939 and, with new buildings added in its grounds, became a military hospital used by the US Army; there was also a vaccine laboratory.
It was established in 1910, and formally opened in 1911. The venture was largely funded by the Gothenburg Public House Society, which donated over £7,000 to the initiative. The Goth Public House (previously Gothenburg House) In its prime the park boasted an ornate bandstand, a paddling pool, a putting course and swing park, and was a focal point for various leisure pursuits, and the venue for the annual "Store" (Co-operative Society) treat. Although most of these amenities have long since gone, the park is still tended by the local authority and provides a public open space for all to use.
Jennison turned his home into a public house, the Adam and Eve, which he and his wife ran together. John Jennison, founder of Belle Vue Zoological Gardens In 1835 Jennison was approached by businessman George Gill, who suggested that he lease Belle Vue – a public house in of open land between Kirkmanshulme Lane and Hyde Road – as a more suitable site for his aviary. Jennison took out a mortgage of £300 to pay off the £80 mortgage on the Strawberry Gardens and spent the remainder on a trial six-month lease of the Belle Vue property, in June 1836.

By Pelican Stairs is the Prospect of Whitby, which has a much-disputed claim to be the oldest Thames-side public house still in existence. Be that as it may, there has been an inn on the site since the reign of Henry VIII, and it is certainly one of the most famous public houses in London.

The Whinmoor public house was closed in December 2010, and re-opened three years (2012) later as a pub, but also offers self-defence classes for ages of all which is placed on the left hand side of the building. Swarcliffe Working Men's Club, a members only club, was built in the 1960s, in 2011 it had 1,700 members. St. Gregory's Social Club was next to St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church and was closed in 2011.

The Royal Oak is a Grade II-listed public house ("pub") in Frindsbury, a Medway town in Kent, United Kingdom. The building dates from the late 17th century and it was used as a public house since before 1754. It is one of a few pre-Victorian buildings on Cooling Road in Frindsbury and one of the last remaining coach houses in the area. This family-run microbrewery is based in part of the original Bents brewery. The Star Inn, Stone More recently a second microbrewery, trading under the name Joules, dropping the 'John' due to trademark reasons, has begun brewing in Shropshire. A pint of both Lymestone and Joules can be tasted at the Swan Inn; Lymestone Brewery also has their own public house - The Borehole Inn, situated next to the brewery itself. The Star Public House was fully licensed in 1819 although the building predates the canal by some 200 years. The building has in its time been a butcher’s shop and slaughterhouse.

Ipplepen now has one public house ('The Wellington') and it is situated close to the heart of the village and alongside the main road. Before the building of the first Gunthorpe Bridge in 1875, it was an important crossing point over the River Trent at the Hazelford Ferry (). This was the main route to Lincoln and the coast at Grimsby avoiding expensive bridges at Newark and Nottingham. The ferry continued operating until well after the second world war as a recreational facility as it was adjacent to The Star & Garter public house. The public house has now been converted to a residential home for the elderly and the ferry has ceased operation (although the winding gear has been preserved on the North bank).
Workers from Stone's Deptford Arklow Road foundry established a rowing club in 1923. Membership of the Stones Rowing Club was restricted to company employees, but after the company refused a grant to purchase new equipment, the club broke away from the works and set up independently, with headquarters in the nearby Lord Clyde public house (western end of Clyde Street). On 27 August 1975 a Provisional IRA bomb exploded without warning at the Caterham Arms public house in Caterham, Surrey, England. There were no fatalities but 33 people were injured, some severely. Two off-duty soldiers lost their legs as a result of the bombing.
