Yamil Chade was born in Lebanon. He spent his teenage years in Cuba, but by his 20s he had moved to Puerto Rico, where some of his ancestors came from. Damiani's coverage of emerging technologies has appeared in outlets including Adweek, Billboard, Entrepreneur, Forbes, Quartz, and The Verge. Through his writing on immersive storytelling, Damiani introduced the concept of the “Builder-Participator Paradigm” to describe the storytelling paradigm created through the “narrative potential” of immersive environments. His Forbes article, “VR And AR Mark The Greatest Revolution In The History Of UX/UI Design,” inspired the creation of the Kendall College of Art and Design/Th3rd Coast Emerging Tech Innovation Lab. Damiani's insights have been included in industry reports from the Anti-Defamation League, Associated Press, Columbia Journalism Review, Hyper Island, Institute for the Future, and the Knight Foundation/Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia University.

Among those linked to dog fighting is Doug Atkins an NFL player who was an enthusiastic participator in dog fighting, and LeShon Johnson, a former NFL running back who received a five-year deferred sentence in 2005 after officials seized 200 dogs during a raid of his dog fighting operation that led to 20 people being convicted in Oklahoma. Former National Basketball Association forward Qyntel Woods, pleaded guilty to animal abuse in 2005 at his home in Portland, Oregon. Former Dallas Cowboys lineman Nate Newton was arrested at a dogfight in Texas, although charges were later dropped. In the late 2000s, NFL quarterback Michael Vick was linked to property in southeastern Virginia where authorities believe a multi-state dog fighting operation was based.

In the summer of 1789 Dumont went to Paris. The object of the journey was to obtain through Jacques Necker, who had just returned to office, an unrestricted restoration of Genevese liberty, by cancelling the treaty of guarantee between France and Switzerland, which prevented the republic from enacting new laws without the consent of the parties to this treaty. The proceedings and negotiations to which this mission gave rise necessarily brought Dumont into connection with most of the leading men in the Constituent Assembly, and made him an interested spectator, sometimes even a participator, indirectly, in the events of the French Revolution. The same cause also led him to renew his acquaintance with Mirabeau, whom he found occupied with his duties as a deputy, and with the composition of his journal, the Courrier de Provence.

Print Loss of Brother The narrator loses her brother during her family immigrated from Vietnam to the U.S. In this book, sibling bereavement affects the narrator’s mental condition during her childhood. Firstly, “social withdrawal and limited friendships have been found as distal correlates to sibling death in several studies” (Garlie), which can be reflected in her role as an observer bu not a participator at school and has limited friends (Le 19). In addition, she often feels differently than others or even has delusion when seeing the butterfly in the glass disk and her feelings are so delicate that she is always trying to free the butterfly in the glass disk(Le 25). What's more, she is dying for being intimate with “the boy”, which is narrated in fragments for many times.

In 1896, she joined the newly founded Social Democratic Workers' Party (SDAP) as its first female member and the first woman in the Netherlands to be a member of a political party, and she became known as the "Red Lady". Cornélie Huygens was a known and active socialist ideologist and participator in the political debate, and by her work for women suffrage, she made the work for women's rights, which had in the Netherlands had previously been an issue for upper class women, a part of the socialist movement for worker's rights. Despite her principled opposition against the institution of marriage, she married on 2 October 1902, at the age of 54, to the Amsterdam- born German businessman Ignazius Bahlmann, who had translated her novel Barthold Meryan into German. Apparently very unhappy in her marriage, she drowned herself within a month after this wedding in a pond in the Vondelpark.

Throughout his time as the Minister of Information, Niyitegeka committed numerous atrocities and was an active participator and leader in the Rwandan genocide until fleeing the country in July 1994. He was finally arrested for his crimes in Nairobi, Kenya on February 9, 1999 and sent to the United Nations prison quarters in Arusha, Tanzania to await trial. On 16 May 2003, the First Trial Chamber of the ICTR handed down its judgement and found Eliezer Niyitegeka -by a unanimous verdict- guilty of: “genocide” (1st count), of “conspiracy to commit genocide” (3rd count), of “direct and public incitation to commit genocide” (4th count) of “murder as a crime against humanity” (5th count), of “extermination as a crime against humanity” (6th count) and of “other inhumane acts as a crime against humanity” (8th count). Niyitegeka was found not guilty of “complicity in genocide” (2nd count) and not guilty of “rape as a crime against humanity” (7th count).

Anna Sandström belonged to the circle centering around the founders of the women's rights movement Fredrika Bremer-förbundet including Sophie Adlersparre in whose paper she published her first article as a reformer in 1884. During the 1890s, she was a known participator in the gender debate through her articles in the paper of Fredrika Bremer-förbundet. She represented the then radical line of the feminist movement which saw men and women as unique individuals and defended their right to develop their personalities in opposition of traditional gender roles: she opposed the Difference feminism represented by Ellen Key which demanded equal rights for men and women because their differences would complement and benefit society, and instead demanded equal rights from the viewpoint that men and women were born equal and naturally different only as individuals rather than as men and women, and that it was a waste of human resources to create psychological differences through artificial gender roles instead of helping individuals develop their personal talents and ambitions. As such, she became one of the leading figures within Swedish feminism.
