Calvert left Nevermore in 2000 after the Dreaming Neon Black tour ended to pursue a full-time career as a pilot, attending school and working in Seattle initially before moving to San Luis Obispo, California for his first assignment, then Salt Lake City, Utah and later Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Fang is 14 years old. (15 in the movie:Maximum ride,Fang, Angel, and Nevermore and 20 in Maximum Ride Forever) He is second-in-command of the Flock and Max's best friend (later her boyfriend). He is only four months younger than Max. Fang is able to virtually disappear by staying very still and quiet.
In the "Acceptance" ending, Ash finds his friend, which is stuck to a large glowing orb. The orb starts to explode and Ash has to escape. When the explosion goes off, Ash accepts his fate and dies happily. In the "Nevermore" ending, Ash becomes a part of the world, joining the mother to live forever.
A live album culled from Gigantour festival shows in Montreal (September 2, 2005) and Vancouver (September 9, 2005) was released on CD on August 22, 2006, and on DVD on September 5, 2006. Recurring villain Dr. Light, voiced by character actor Roger Bumpass, debuted in the episode "Nevermore." Keith Szarabajka filled the voice of Trigon. Maximum "Max" Ride is the title character and the primary protagonist of the series. She grew in a lab. She is a 14-year-old (15 in Fang, Angel, and Nevermore and 20 in Maximum Ride Forever) avian-human hybrid and the leader of the Flock. She plays the part of a mother or "mamma bird" in this case.

He also narrated the 25th Anniversary of Re-Animator at the 2010 FanTasia. In July 2009, Combs returned to his stage roots and reprised his role as Edgar Allan Poe in a one-man theatrical show entitled Nevermore...an Evening with Edgar Allan Poe at The Steve Allen Theater in Hollywood, CA.Stebe Allen Theater - Nevermore Although only supposed to run for a month, the show enjoyed much success and sold-out crowds, and was extended four times.
The children depart for the unknown V.F.D. by bus, and after a long, hot and dusty walk from the bus stop, they reach the town of V.F.D., which is filled with crows. They become acquainted with the Council of Elders, who proclaims that the children will do all the chores for the entire village, but they will be living with Hector, the handyman, who takes them to his home, where he shows them the house, the barn and the Nevermore Tree, where all the crows come to roost at night. The Baudelaires learn that V.F.D. stands for the Village of Fowl Devotees. Hector shows the Baudelaires the following couplet, which he says was found at the base of Nevermore Tree: For sapphires we are held in here, Only you can end our fear.
In 2000, after exhausting themselves with touring, Soilwork returned to the studio to record their third full-length album, A Predator's Portrait. The release was well received and brought Soilwork to the forefront of the melodic death metal scene, alongside label mates In Flames. Zero Order Phase is the debut solo album by former Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis. It was released on September 30, 2008 through Century Media Records. The album was produced by Neil Kernon and features guest appearances by guitarists Ron Jarzombek, Pat O'Brien, and the jazz bassist Michael Manring. An instrumental album, Zero Order Phase was recorded in March 2008 at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, Washington.

Timothy K. Calvert (November 7, 1965 – April 30, 2018) was an American metal guitarist. He was known for his dark, moody style of songwriting created through his frequent usage of dissonant passages and diminished chords. He was associated with the bands Forbidden and Nevermore. Calvert was an accomplished guitar player who played in a neoclassical style, featuring an abundance of arpeggios and sweep-picking.
Proxauf booked his first major role in 2006. He played Jonas Block in the 2006 film Nevermore. In 2008 he played the small role of Christian Buddenbrook (played as an adult by August Diehl) in the literary film The Buddenbrooks. The previous peak in Proxauf's acting career was the role of the reverend's son Martin in Michael Haneke's historical drama The White Ribbon (2009).
Gone Forever is the third full-length studio album by the New Jersey heavy metal quintet God Forbid. Jeff Loomis of Nevermore contributes the solo on track 7, "Soul Engraved". Track 2, "Antihero", was used in a sampler track hidden in Shadows Fall's album The War Within. Three music videos were released from this album for the tracks "Antihero", "Better Days" and the title track.
Drover was replaced by Chris Broderick, formerly of Nevermore and Jag Panzer. Broderick was initially asked by Mustaine's management company at the end of 2007 if he would be interested in auditioning for Megadeth. Lord (sometimes stylized as LORD) is a heavy metal band from Wollongong, Australia. The group began as a solo project for "Lord Tim" Grose of Dungeon in 2003 and expanded into a complete band when Dungeon broke up in 2005. LORD has appeared with major acts that include Queensrÿche, Nightwish, Nevermore, Saxon and Gamma Ray. The band's name is usually stylised in all capital letters.
And when the whole thing came about, that we were actually friends again, that's when we started talking more about doing it. And it definitely wasn't because Nevermore was imploding ... which it was, at that point ... We all just started talking with each other again. That was kind of the groundwork for it. And then we started saying, 'Well, gosh, let's make music again.
Angel is 6 years old (7 in The Final Warning, Max, Fang, Angel, and Nevermore), with blue eyes and curly blonde hair. Angel is also the biological sister of The Gasman (Gazzy). Her wings are pure white and are 8 ft (9 ft in Fang) across. She obtains seemingly random powers at random times, but her most eminent power, lasting throughout the series, is the ability to read and control minds.
Ari tries to help Max fight him, but then his expiration date kicks in and he suddenly dies in Max's arms, only living until the age of seven. As his father creates yet another clone of him, Ari returns in Nevermore, showing up with other Erasers with the intent to take out Fang's Gang. Several times he tries to kill Fang, but in the end he is killed for good.
The Quiet Room screened at the Nevermore Film Festival in February 2018, where it won the Jury Award for Best Long-Form Narrative Short. The film was later screened at the LGBT-oriented film festival Outfest on March 11, 2018. In june of the following year The Quiet Room was given a streaming release to Facebook and YouTube by Crypt TV, followed by a release to Shudder on July 29, 2019.

For the supporting tour, Iced Earth was joined by Nevermore. On April 21, 1997, Iced Earth released their first compilation album: Days of Purgatory. The album featured songs from their first two albums, as well as the Enter the Realm demo, resung by Matt Barlow, with new drums and bass on some tracks as well. The album also featured a few songs from Burnt Offerings, remixed and remastered.
Broderick's former Nevermore bandmate, Van Williams, congratulated Megadeth on "getting one hell of a good player, more importantly they're getting a great guy to hang out with and a true friend". The new lineup made its live debut at the Helsinki Ice Hall on February 4. The 2008 Gigantour, with 29 North American dates, began shortly afterwards. Mustaine wanted a shorter lineup, allowing each band a chance to perform well.

The Quagmires attached a couplet to the crows' feet every morning, which fell off in the Nevermore Tree when the paper was dry.

His repetition of this assertion suggests he is trying to rationalize his own excessive feelings of loss. Unlike "The Raven", in which the narrator believes he will "nevermore" be reunited with his love, "Annabel Lee" says the two will be together again, as not even demons "can ever dissever" their souls.
Adrian realizes that Abe has been keeping a close eye on Palm Springs because of Nevermore – and that Abe himself is likely trafficking vampire blood as well. Quoth is a talking raven who accompanies the Death of Rats. He was named Quoth by his previous owner, a wizard with no sense of humour who was attempting to make a joke by referencing the famous line in "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe. Quoth refuses to give in to this stereotype by saying "the N word" (Nevermore). At times he acts as steed and interpreter for the Death of Rats.

By 2003, Chuck Billy had made a full recovery, and the band began performing live again with a new drummer, Jon Allen of Sadus. Lead guitarist Steve Smyth departed to join Nevermore and was replaced by ex-Halford guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak.

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, originally a supergroup, from Halmstad, formed in 1995. Its members were in bands such as Carcass, Armageddon, Carnage, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, The Agonist, Nevermore, and Eucharist. It was founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, who were both originally from the death metal band Carnage. The band has released ten studio albums, three live albums, three video albums and four EPs.
They released a demo in 1992 entitled Ceremony, and an EP called The Days before the Death that did not come out before 2000 and for which did the mastering with Mark Prator. After the band's breakup, decided to move out of Cincinnati. He relocated to Los Angeles and searched for a new band. Through tape trading he eventually got hired by Nevermore, who at the time were looking for a second guitarist.
The door knocker moves on its own and Poe thinks he sees the outline of a large, black bird. As Poe stumbles outside, the word "wine" appearing on a rock he braces himself against, he sees a ghost. As he reaches for another sip of wine, a human skull appears in place of the glass. Finally, a raven makes its way into the room, repeating the word "Nevermore" as Poe attempts to talk to it.
In June 2012, Barlow announced on his Facebook page the creation of a new band with former Iced Earth bassist Freddie Vidales and Nevermore drummer Van Williams. Later that year the band signed with Nuclear Blast Records and entered Morrisound studio and recorded their debut self-titled album. The album was released on September 6, 2013. The band went on tour around Europe with Powerwolf and Battle Beast in September/October 2013.
Cole said that she listened to the demo of "Happy Hour", initially titled "Sweet and Sour", on repeat because she enjoyed the song so much. She further noted that the song, produced by Soulshock & Karlin, had a "60s sound" and was "one of those tracks that you either really love or you don't get it." A chorus singing about money – with a refrain “a thousand dollars” is cut off by the entrance of the director and crew for a film who began the frantic preparations for the shoot. While the director organizes the filming there is an urgent call for missing props and dresses. The main characters enter from their dressing-rooms: Nina Valencia (playing Indolenda) and her husband Arthur de St. Barbe (Mr. Juste), Serge Eliacin (Adolf) and Lillian Nevermore (the Fairy).
In Sin We'll Find Salvation is the debut full-length studio album by Israeli death/thrash metal band The Fading. The album was recorded with producer Pelle Saether (Ebony Tears, Carnal Forge, Necrodeath) at Studio Underground in Västerås, Sweden, in January 2009. It was then mixed and mastered by famed producer and Scar Symmetry guitarist Jonas Kjellgren, at his Abyss Studios. Artwork for the album was provided by talented British artist Colin Marks (Nevermore, Strapping Young Lad, Aborted).
"For Evermore" alludes to Queen's songs "Nevermore" and "Seven Seas of Rhye" from the album Queen II as well as "Lily of the Valley" from Sheer Heart Attack; compare, "The King of Rhye will be crowned again / His messenger will spread the word far through the land / He will sail the seven seas of his kingdom" ("For Evermore") with, "Messenger from Seven Seas has flown / To tell the King of Rhye he's lost his throne" ("Lily of the Valley").
Not too long after being auditioned for the lead part in Megadeth (which was also auditioned for by Steve Smyth and Chris Broderick, both playing for his later band Nevermore at different points), Loomis was unable to join the band Sanctuary after guitarist Sean Blosl had left. He was able to take his place at this time; however, because of a dispute caused by guitarist Lenny Rutledge wanting to make grunge oriented music, Sanctuary broke up 4 months afterwards.
Oakley worked as a concept artist for Frazer Lee's horror film Urbane. In 2007 he illustrated an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher" written by Dan Whitehead and published in Self Made Hero's Nevermore anthology. Boom! Studios' Cthulhu Tales #2 (published April 2008) featured a story entitled The Hiding Place written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Oakley. Oakley provided covers for several issues of Cthulhu Tales and Zombie Tales.
Underworld is the ninth studio album by American progressive metal band Symphony X. It was released on July 24, 2015 through Nuclear Blast, and released in Japan on August 24. The album's first single, "Nevermore", premiered on May 22, 2015, followed by "Without You" on June 19. They were both officially released on July 22, 2015. The band's guitarist, founder and main songwriter, Michael Romeo, said he was against releasing separated tracks of the album, since it was written to be "a whole".
Unaware premiered in North America at the Wanderings Film Festival in Huntsville, Alabama, on November 13, 2010. Subsequent premieres included the 12th annual Nevermore Film Festival in Durham, North Carolina on February 18–19, 2011, and the 4th annual Indy Horror Film Festival in DeKalb, Illinois on March 6, 2011. The film premiered at the Bare Bones International Film Festival in Muskogee, Oklahoma on April 26, 2011. According to Fangoria, the film will be released on DVD on March 12, 2013.
However, he then realizes that Maya is different from Max, and begins to treat her differently, although in his heart, he still loves Max. After the planned D-day, Fang leaves with his flock, leaving Max and her flock in the rubble of Paris, searching for Angel (who is missing). In "Nevermore", Fang hears the 'Voice' and comes back for Max, after breaking one of his wings. He and Max grow back together after he comes back and abandons his 'Gang'.

The independently released EP Idiosyncrasy appeared in 1998 and at approximately the same time, drummer Aaren Suttil (aka Suds) formed a thrash metal band called Atomizer while still remaining a member of Dreadnaught. During 1999, Dreadnaught began touring more widely, supporting Cathedral, Pitchshifter and Nevermore on Australian tours. The band also signed to Roadrunner Records through what was at the time an Australian-based development roster called Dark Carnival. Dreadnaught's first album release for the label was 2000's Down to Zero.
It features several guest performers, such as Corey Beaulieu (Trivium), Willie Adler (Lamb of God) and Jeff Loomis (Nevermore). The band's self-titled thirteenth album was released in 2010, coming to be in a more modern thrash metal-styled sound. Annihilator returned to Canada for two live shows, making it the first time since 1993 that the band had played live in North America. On July 10, 2011, Annihilator headlined the Quebec City Imperial Theatre to a sold-out crowd.
This record retained some of the modern influences from The Killing Kind, while also reincorporating elements from the band's earlier efforts. Some songs on From The Underground And Below, including "Save Me", even had a slight industrial metal sound to them. Reportedly a video for the track "Long Time Dyin'" was shot, but received no television exposure. In 1998, once again the band opted to tour only Europe in support of the album, hitting the road with Nevermore, Angel Dust and Nocturnal Rites.
Nevermore is an 1897 oil on canvas painting by the French Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin. Since 1932 it has been in the collection of the Courtauld Institute of Art and on display in the Gallery. It was executed during the artist's second stay on the island of Tahiti in the South Pacific. The enigmatic work depicts a naked Pahura, Gauguin's teenage vahine or wife, lying on a bed in their hut, her voluptuous figure echoed by the curves of the headboard.

The third album, The Sacred Talisman was released in 1999 and featured a new drummer, Owe Lingvall due to a leg injury of Ulf Andersson. The album entered the Japanese charts at No. 83\. Rhoades preyed on hitchhikers and truckstop sex workers, starting in the 1970s. His first confirmed victims were Patricia Candace Walsh (later known posthumously as a former girlfriend of metal vocalist Warrel Dane from bands Sanctuary and Nevermore) and her husband, Douglas Zyskowski, in January 1990. The couple were hitchhiking when Rhoades picked them up in his truck while on a long-haul journey. He immediately killed Zyskowski and dumped his body in Sutton County, Texas, where it was later found.

Witkiewicz was close friends with composer Karol Szymanowski and, from childhood, with Bronisław Malinowski and Zofia Romer. Romer was romantically linked to both Bronisław Malinowski and Witkiewicz. He had a tumultuous affair with prominent actress Irena Solska who according to Anna Micińska is represented as the heroine Akne Montecalfi in his first novel, The 622 Downfalls of Bungo or The Demonic Woman, 1911. According to Micińska he also represented himself as the character Bungo and Malinowski as the Duke of Nevermore.
Dave was immediately won over and soon managed to get in contact with Chris. Two weeks later, Broderick was officially declared the new guitarist for Megadeth. He made his live debut with the band on February 4, 2008 in Finland and toured with them on Gigantour 2008 and also recorded guitar parts for their 12th album Endgame through their 14th album, Super Collider. Due to extensive touring with Megadeth he was no longer be able to collaborate with Jag Panzer and Nevermore.
Near the end of the novel, in Chapter 62, Pelagia receives a photograph from Günter Weber and written on the back is a passage in German from Goethe's Faust, "Gretchen am Spinnrad," which is also a popular German Lied, set to music by Schubert. The Quiet Room is a 2018 American short horror film written and directed by Sam Wineman. It stars Jamal Douglas as Michael, a man who, after a failed suicide attempt, wakes up in a hospital and starts to believe that he has awakened a demon. Alongside Douglas, the film stars Alaska Thunderfuck, Kit Williamson, and Lisa Wilcox. The Quiet Room was screened at the Nevermore Film Festival and Outfest in 2018, and was officially uploaded to Facebook and YouTube by Crypt TV in June 2019.
Another very limited US tour followed, supported by Fates Warning in the early shows, and then Nevermore for the remainder. Around this time, Caffery chose Zak's replacement in the form of the singer Damond Jiniya (Diet of Worms), who was once again brought to the band from long-time friend and Circle II Circle manager/co founder Dan Campbell. Damond sang the song "Edge of Thorns" as his audition song. Damond performed Zak's parts on tour, with Jon having an increased vocal role in proceedings.
In 2010 Warbringer returned to Europe co-heading with the U.K.'s Evile and both bands returned to the States to support Overkill's Killfest 2010 tour. In the spring Warbringer opened for Municipal Waste in Japan and headlined in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and The Philippines. Warbringer was direct support for Pestilence in North America, then returned to Europe to co-headline with Skeletonwitch, and then as direct support again in the fall supporting Nevermore. The band made plans to begin work for the third record.
Praises to the War Machine is the debut solo release/album by heavy metal vocalist Warrel Dane from Nevermore, released on April 25, 2008. The album was produced by Peter Wichers, who was tapped by Dane to work on the album while Wichers was still a member of Soilwork. After leaving that band in 2007, Wichers co-wrote the album with Dane and played on eight of its tracks. Soilwork drummer Dirk Verbeuren and former Himsa guitarist Matt Wicklund also played on the album.

Dennis Paoli is a screenwriter and playwright known for his work on horror films, specifically those directed by Stuart Gordon. He has written or co- written five of Gordon's films, including (1985) and From Beyond (1986). He has also collaborated with Gordon on the stage productions of Bleacher Bums, Re-Animator: The Musical, and Nevermore: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe, and on two episodes of the Showtime horror television series Masters of Horror. Paoli serves as the coordinator of the Hunter College writing center.
In August 2018, after 17 years with the band Terji Skibenæs announced his departure, stating "There's no drama or anything going on between me and the others. It's just me not having any joy to play the music in the style of TÝR anymore. I want to thank Heri Joensen and Gunnar Thomsen for the all the time we had and I wish TÝR all the best in the future." The opening left by Skibenæs' exit was filled by former Nevermore and Satyricon guitarist Attila Vörös.
Electro-industrial band Skinny Puppy recorded and released song "Tin Omen" as a reference to the protests. In late 1989, it was released on their album Rabies with lyrics noting "non-violent rebellion", "tanks arrive", "tell the world what's going on" and "keep the camera alive". The 1994 music video for "Refuse/Resist" by the thrash/death metal band Sepultura features brief footage of the Tank Man. The Tank Man is the subject of the song "The Tiananmen Man" (1996) by the American heavy metal band Nevermore.
Jon Allen took over from Jacobs in early 2000. The following year, Billy, Peterson and Di Giorgio released First Strike Still Deadly, a collection of early songs re-recorded with former guitarist Alex Skolnick and drummer John Tempesta, as well as early vocalist Steve "Zetro" Souza on two tracks. After several temporary breaks from the group due to family issues, Allen left Testament in February 2004 and was replaced by the returning Paul Bostaph. Just two months later, Smyth also left to join Nevermore and was replaced by former Halford guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak.

Nudge is 11 years old (12 in Fang, Angel, and Nevermore and 17 in Maximum Ride Forever), has brown skin, and has wild, curly, long, dark brown hair. Described as Max's best supporter and the peacemaker, she likes Max over Fang and can't live without her. Her wings are often said to be tawny-brown, almost cream. Her real name is revealed to be Monique, and she managed to track down who she believes to be her mother because of the resemblance in skin tone, but never meets her because she is attacked by Ari.
Although she is confused, she allows him to get closer and closer to her. Later, in the book Nevermore, Dylan is told by a 'Voice' that he must capture Max's heart with all his might, so he takes her to a treehouse he made himself and kisses her then. Later, Fang re-appears after his own clan had been destroyed and Max realizes her mistake, choosing to be with Fang instead of a clone with programmed feelings. Dylan goes on a rampage, destroying part of a town and even attempting to kill Fang.
The lover, often identified as a student,Meyers, 163Silverman, 239 is lamenting the loss of his love, Lenore. Sitting on a bust of Pallas, the raven seems to further distress the protagonist with its constant repetition of the word "Nevermore". The poem makes use of folk, mythological, religious, and classical references. Poe claimed to have written the poem logically and methodically, with the intention to create a poem that would appeal to both critical and popular tastes, as he explained in his 1846 follow-up essay, "The Philosophy of Composition".
The painter Paul Gauguin painted a nude portrait of his teenage wife in Tahiti in 1897 entitled Nevermore, featuring a raven perched within the room. At the time the couple were mourning the loss of their first child together and Gauguin the loss of his favourite daughter back in Europe. The name of the Baltimore Ravens, a professional American football team, was inspired by the poem. Chosen in a fan contest that drew 33,288 voters, the allusion honors Poe, who spent the early part of his career in Baltimore and is buried there.
He began his career in the mid-1980s in a thrash metal band called Militia before joining Forbidden in 1989. He made his recording debut in 1990 with the band on their second album Twisted into Form, co-writing much of the material and bringing a darker and more progressive sound than its predecessor, Forbidden Evil.Metal Storm Calvert played on two more Forbidden albums, Distortion in 1994 and Green in 1997. After the dissolution of Forbidden, Calvert was asked to replace Pat O'Brien in the progressive thrash metal band Nevermore.
A reader of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven". cannot help but hear the repetition of "nevermore" as a formal element of Poe's poem. Less obvious and a bit subjective would be an interpreter's pointing to the resemblance tying together all the mentions of weariness, napping, dreaming, and the drug nepenthe. In the early 20th Century the German philosopher Martin Heidegger explored questions of formal philosophical analysis verses personal interpretations of aesthetic experience, preferencing the direct subjective experience of a work of art as essential to an individual's aesthetic interpretation.
J. C. Brown, A Journey into Thomas Hardy's Poetry (London 1989) p. 143-425 Hardy used the waves, "engrossed in saying their ceaseless babbling say" (ln. 5) that crashed against the cliff, as a metaphor for time, which moves forward mechanically, routinely, and without any concern for people. In the poem, Hardy is again on the cliff where he and Emma had once stood, and the landscape is the same, but the waves—or time—has taken Emma to a place where she no longer "cares for Beeny, and will laugh there nevermore" (ln. 15).

On June 26, 2012, former Iced Earth vocalist Matt Barlow announced on his Facebook page the creation of a new band named Ashes of Ares with former Iced Earth bassist Freddie Vidales and former Nevermore drummer Van Williams, posting on YouTube two one-minute teaser videos. Shortly afterward, Van Williams was also announced as the drummer of Ghost Ship Octavius, featuring former God Forbid guitarist Matt Wicklund and vocalist Adōn Fanion. Ghost Ship Octavius released their debut album on March 23, 2015.
Their new album, entitled "Captivity & Devourment", is set to be released in January 2015 on Listenable Records. Now enlisted Meridian Dawn/ex-Nightrage vocalist Antony Hämäläinen as their replacement for the recently departed Matt Hallquist. During Arch Enemy's North American tour in support of their album War Eternal, guitarist Nick Cordle reportedly left the band. Amott temporarily re-joined the band for the remainder of the tour, while famed guitarist Jeff Loomis (formerly of Nevermore) was announced as the official replacement and joined the band for their European tour with Kreator and subsequent events.
The 1987 DuckTales series introduces Magica's brother Poe (voiced Frank Welker), who was transformed into a non-anthropomorphic raven while maintaining his ability to speak. Although Magica has various transformation spells at her disposal, she is unable to turn Poe back into an anthropomorphic duck. In Poe's debut episode, "Send in the Clones", Magica explains that she needs the power of Scrooge's Number One Dime to restore Poe. His name is a reference to Edgar Allan Poe, and Poe often ends his stanzas with the word "nevermore", quoting the poem "The Raven".
The "melodic metal" band took on much of the Dungeon legacy, and plays Dungeon's live anthems, classic metal covers, and their own original songs. They have released two more albums and an EP, and toured with groups such as Queensrÿche, Nevermore, Atrocity, Skinless, and Gamma Ray. Grose was also a member of the Newcastle, Australia power metal band Ilium from 2002 until 2007. He was originally hired to produce the group's debut album Sirens of the Styx but when the vocalist left the band, Grose was asked to also provide vocals.
The band went on a European and South American tour shortly after its release and recorded their first live album, Live on the Edge of Forever. In 2002, the band released The Odyssey, an album prominently featuring a 24-minute-long musical interpretation of the Homeric epic, the Odyssey. In 2005 Symphony X was featured on Gigantour, a summer festival headlined by Megadeth with Dream Theater, Nevermore and Anthrax. Two Symphony X songs from the tour, "Inferno" and "Of Sins and Shadows", are featured on the Gigantour DVD and CD-set, released in September 2006.
Daysend played only a handful of shows throughout the year. In 2011 it was announced that Daysend would be touring Australia with Nevermore in June; however, that tour was cancelled. On 5 May, Daysend announced through their Facebook page that they were disbanding: "The reason is not due to artistic differences or personal issues but rather that we feel we cannot continue with the band any longer. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to our family and friends who have supported us over the years and most of all, our loyal fans".
After returning from the European Ultimate-Power-Force-Tour with Metal Church and Paul Di´Anno´s Killers, singer Carl Albert was killed in a California Bay Area car accident on April 22, 1995. Around the same time, Mark McGee left the band. Steve Smyth (future member of Nevermore, Testament and Forbidden) was recruited as his replacement. Upon Albert's death, the band released A Tribute to Carl Albert (culled from non-soundboard recordings taken from the Word of Mouth European tour), and their first home video The First Ten Years.
On August 6, Barlow performed his farewell show with Iced Earth at the Wacken Open Air festival. On June 26, 2012, Barlow announced on his Facebook page the creation of a new band named Ashes of Ares with former Iced Earth bassist Freddie Vidales and Nevermore drummer Van Williams, posting on YouTube two one-minute teaser videos. The band signed with Nuclear Blast, and the self-titled album released on September 6, 2013. In May 2013, Barlow contributed vocals to American power metal band Artizan's album Ancestral Energy, being featured on the album's final track.
In 2012, Schecter announced two signature models to be released in the year. It is based on a design made by ex-Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis. One model will feature a single Seymour Duncan Blackout Phase 2 pickup with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, along with a custom Balsac graphic where the neck pickup would be, and the 2nd model will feature 2 EMG 81 pickups and a Floyd Rose tremolo system, while being devoid of the Balsac graphic. Both guitars will have a single Balsac inlay on the 3rd fret.
In the end, efforts to persuade more electors to vote against Trump ultimately failed and Trump won 304 electors on December 19. Trump's electoral lead over Clinton even grew because a larger number of electors defected from her: Trump received 304 of his 306 pledged electors, Clinton 227 of her 232. In a National Review article titled "Never Trump Nevermore", Jonah Goldberg stated: > I'm going to call 'em like I see 'em and wait and see if I was wrong about > Trump. [...] The thing is: Never Trump is over.
Bill Fore went on to play with former Black Market Hero guitarist and solo guitar instrumentalist Angel Vivaldi. Wishing him the best of luck on moving forward, he was temporarily replaced with 25-year-old Chad Anthony, who is also from New Jersey. Anthony learned all of the songs in only two weeks to be ready in time for the 2010 North American tour with Soilwork and Death Angel. They announced on September 20, 2010 that they needed to cancel their touring with Nevermore to do take the time to properly audition and rehearse for a new drummer.
Ron Jarzombek splits solos with Loomis on "Jato Unit", former Nevermore bandmate Pat O'Brien-who joined Cannibal Corpse after recording The Politics of Ecstasy-on "Race Against Disaster", jazz musician Michael Manring on "Cashmere Shiv" and producer Kernon playing a fretless guitar solo on the same track. As Loomis explained in an interview with Komodo Rock, because the guest musicians lived in different parts of the United States, he e-mailed recordings of the rhythm guitar and drums. Each guest recorded his solos at his own home studio and sent the tracks back to Loomis in Seattle.
Several attempts to write open-source emulators for various Lisp Machines have been made: CADR Emulation, Symbolics L Lisp Machine Emulation, the E3 Project (TI Explorer II Emulation), Meroko (TI Explorer I), and Nevermore (TI Explorer I). On 3 October 2005, the MIT released the CADR Lisp Machine source code as open source. In September 2014, Alexander Burger, developer of PicoLisp, announced PilMCU, an implementation of PicoLisp in hardware. Invictus Infinitum is the second album by Australian melodic death metal band Switchblade. It was recorded and engineered by ex Cryogenic drummer Darren Jenkins at LA Studios, Sydney, mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Neil Kernon in Chicago, USA, and mastered by Alan Douches in New Windsor, USA. Invictus Infinitum was released in Australia and New Zealand on 6 June 2009 by AmpHead Music, and digitally released worldwide by New York- based digital distribution label The Orchard. The album features a special guest guitar solo by Nevermore lead guitarist, Jeff Loomis on the track "Reflective Curse".
Andy Sneap wanted to produce the recordings but had to work with Nevermore; James Murphy, a friend of Sneap's, offered Walkyier his help. The final album features a DVD with a video to the song "A Beautiful Start to the End of the World", inspired by the novel Aimée und Jaguar. Although, according to Metal Hammer journalist Detlef Dengler, the video "is professional and looks very expensive", it cost "almost nothing" according to Walkyier, as The Clan Destined consist of Pagans with a common life philosophy: "artists, designers and film makers". Sabbat reformed in 2006 to play shows.
Dragonlord is an American symphonic black metal band that was formed in 2001 as a side project by Eric Peterson & Steve Di Giorgio of Testament, and Steve Smyth of Nevermore. The band is a result of Eric Peterson's interest in darker music, and not being able to do that with Testament he formed Dragonlord. The band combines elements of black metal (screeching vocals, keyboards) with some thrash guitar influences. Lyrical themes vary, either about the rage of a dragon (hence the name), death, war, lost love, Satanic or otherwise anti- religious themes (common in black metal), or combinations.
2010 – joined the Finnish metal band Thaurorod for the "Power of Metal" European Tour Tour with Symphony X and Nevermore and played major European festivals. He took part as singer and keyboard player in a major event in Bologna: The Ultimate World Guitar Exhibition"" with artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Glenn Hughes, Gregg Bissonette, Derek Sherinian and Neil Murray. 2011 – became singer of Italian power metal band Secret Sphere and in 2012 released the album Portrait Of A Dying Heart. Secret Sphere performed at Wacken Open Air 2013 and three of their songs were included in the official Wacken DVD.
Robin Geoffrey Cable, with whom Mercury had worked during the "I Can Hear Music" session, was asked to produce "Nevermore" and "Funny How Love Is", and collaborate with Roy Thomas Baker on the ambitious "March of the Black Queen". After the commercial failure of the single "Keep Yourself Alive" from the first album, Queen decided it needed a single that did not take "too long to happen" (i.e., without a lengthy guitar intro). "Seven Seas of Rhye", recorded with the specific intention of being the album's leading single, began in a way designed to grab people.
Shortly after the release of the album, guitarist Dave Howells returned to the lineup subsequent to a communication fall out during the writing period. Howells' only writing contribution to the album was in fact the first riff of the song "Post Mortal Archives". Terrorust made its first major live appearance at an event called the Festival of the Dead in Sydney, headlined by Nevermore; Howells text-messaged the band that he was quitting the night previous to this show. The group was then booked to tour nationally with Deicide in early 2007 and Andrew Gillon, formerly of Abominator, stepped in.
After Poe's death, Chivers accused Poe of plagiarizing both "The Raven" and "Ulalume" from his own workMoss, 101 though other critics suggested Chivers's Eonchs of Ruby were a "mediocre restatement" of Poe's poems.Lombard, 17 The first poem of the collection, "The Vigil of Aiden", was an homage to Poe, using names like "Lenore" and the refrain "forever more!"Lombard, 62–63 On July 30, 1854, Chivers published an essay called "Origin of Poe's Raven" under the pseudonym Fiat Justitia, claiming that he inspired Poe to use trochaic octameter and the word "nevermore" in "The Raven".Parks, 182.
In 2008, Raven made a cameo appearance in the music video for the song "Saints of Los Angeles" by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. In 2010 she became a panellist judge on the Norwegian version of the talent show The X Factor and later on Norwegian Idol. Originally, Raven recorded her third studio album Nevermore in 2009 and penned it for a 2010 release, but due to the internal issues with her record label Eleven Seven Music, it was never released. It dropped two singles "Flesh And Bone" and "Found Someone" exclusively released in Scandinavia.
Two days after leaving Sleze, guitarist Zoli Semanate joined a punk rock band that would become known as The Dehumanizers, which garnered significant attention throughout the Seattle area in 1986 for their song “Kill Lou Guzzo”, Jim Sheppard continued playing bass with Sanctuary until their break-up in 1992, and he along with a few other members of that band later formed Nevermore. Meanwhile, the last known line-up of Sleze – Staley, Pollock, Bacolas, Bergstrom – continued as Alice N' Chains before breaking up on friendly terms in 1987 and moving onto other projects, most notably Alice in Chains.

In 1966, Roussos and Sideras met keyboardist and composer Vangelis Papathanassiou, and in 1968, the three decided to form a band, inviting Koulouris to join as their guitarist. That same year, the foursome recorded one single, "Plastics Nevermore" b/w "The Other People," under the name Aphrodite's Child. As the band prepared to travel to England to find greater success, Koulouris' military obligations once again impeded his musical career, and he had to stay in Greece while the remaining three established Aphrodite's Child further west. By 1970, Koulouris was out of the military and free to rejoin the band.
Catalyst has received 25 Sterling Awards for its productions of The House of Pootsie Plunket, Songs for Sinners, Elephant Wake, Fusion 2001, The Blue Orphan, Carmen Angel, Frankenstein and Nevermore, and Hunchback. In the spring of 2013 Catalyst produced a new work called "The Soul Collector" which ran at the Westbury Theatre. Their newest work, "Fortune Falls" premiered at Alberta Theatre Projects in October 2016, and returned to Edmonton opening on January 18, 2017. Their production of "Vigilante", which premiered at the Citadel Theatre in 2015, went on their largest tour to date in the winter of 2017.
War Eternal is the ninth studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, which was released first in Japan on 4 June 2014 by Century Media. It is the first Arch Enemy album in 15 years since Burning Bridges to feature a new line-up; Alissa White-Gluz took over on vocals after former long-time vocalist Angela Gossow stepped down from vocal duties to be the band's business manager. Additionally, ex-Arsis guitarist Nick Cordle replaced Christopher Amott in 2012. Cordle ultimately left the band just before their European tour and was replaced by former Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis.
In early 2013 solo guitarist Keith Merrow announced via his Facebook page that he and former Nevermore guitarist Jeff Loomis would record an album together. In July 2013 Merrow and Loomis, now going by the name Conquering Dystopia, launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in order to fund the recording of the album and announced that the band's lineup would also feature Cannibal Corpse bassist Alex Webster and former The Faceless drummer Alex Rüdinger. The campaign goal of $15,000 was reached in less than 24 hours. In December 2013 Conquering Dystopia recorded the album at the Audio Hammer Studios with producer Mark Lewis.
Ultimately, three songs on the album did feature Dane's trademark high-pitched vocals, though the majority of the singing was more in line with the baritone and bass vocals that were featured prominently in Nevermore. In February 2015, Brad Hull's departure was announced, with guitarist Nick Cordle, formerly of Arsis and Arch Enemy, filling in for March and April tour dates. His future status with the band is currently unclear. Warrel Dane said the split with Brad Hull was due to "personal things that happened", that are better not to discuss in public, but said they are still friends.
As well as singing he also plays the bass when performing songs from Atomic Soul live. He is referred to in various circles as "Sir Russell Allen", and he is credited as such on Arjen Lucassen's Star One albums, because of a joke that Arjen made regarding Allen's former job as a jouster. In the summer of 2005 he went on tour with Symphony X on Dave Mustaine's Gigantour alongside such bands as Dream Theater, Megadeth, and Nevermore. The same year, he also made part of a duo melodic rock project with singer Jørn Lande (ex-Masterplan) called Allen/Lande, which has four albums, all released by Frontiers Records.
They also played a rare L.A. show supporting Latin all-stars De La Tierra, led by Sepultura's Andreas Kisser. In early 2016, Tribe released a video for "Yeah!", their first new song since 2006's Dweller on the Threshold. Z has continued to keep busy working as a producer, engineer and mixer, most recently with artists such as former Nevermore vocalist Warrel Dane, Peruvian metal band Flor de Loto, Russian rockers Aria, and all-star project Spirits of Fire featuring Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-Judas Priest, Iced Earth), Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Steve DiGiorgio (Testament, Death), and Mark Zonder (ex-Fates Warning, Warlord).
During his high school and college years, he traveled widely in Europe, studying composition briefly in Nice with Tony Aubin. During his graduate studies, he served on the musical staff of St. Paul's Church in Madison, Wisconsin, conducting a small choir devoted to performance of Gregorian chant reading from the Liber Usualis. Elements of Catholic liturgy and chant may be heard in several of Sametz's pieces: ¡O llama de amor viva! A Mystical Vision of St. John of the Cross (1987) is based largely on the Easter chant, Victimae Paschali laudes; Nevermore will the Wind (2002) and A Child’s Requiem (2014) use the Gregorian Requiem chant.

Symon Alhaddad, guitarist for Sydney death metal/thrash metal band Vaticide temporarily filled in on bass guitar, eventually joining Switchblade permanently. With the band's lineup now solidified, Switchblade went on to play a number of key local shows including the 2006 Come Together Music Festival, and a show at the Marquee, Sydney, which was filmed and recorded for a future live DVD. The band ended 2006 by appearing at Metal for the Brain and then supporting Nevermore in Sydney on the same day. At the start of 2007, Switchblade had originally planned to cease all live shows however they were then offered the opening spot on a tour by Trivium.
David Tennant's father Alexander McDonald had a silent cameo as a footman in one of the early scenes, after being asked to act when visiting David on set. The casting of Fenella Woolgar as Agatha Christie was made at the suggestion of David Tennant, who had previously worked with her on Bright Young Things and He Knew He Was Right. She later played Hellan Femor in the audio play The Company of Friends and Morella Wendigo in Nevermore. Fenella Woolgar had previously appeared in an episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot, "Lord Edgware Dies" as Elis, and has since appeared in the episode "Hallowe'en Party" as Elizabeth Whittaker.
He develops a serum known as "upgrading" which turns his subjects into "Horsemen", genetically improving them, making them stronger and increasing their senses but removing their free will. He allowed the meteor to strike the earth in Nevermore and kill millions of people in an attempt to eradicate the genetically "imperfect" in order to populate the earth with his genetically "perfect" creations. He uses his Horsemen to kill the imperfect mutants still living on earth, including the flock. He desperately tries to kill Max and her developing baby to keep her imperfect genes from spreading, but is then killed by Max when she drops him over the ocean.

Sylvester reformed the band in 1988 (with him being the only original member). This new incarnation of the band recorded their first full- length album, ...in Death of Steve Sylvester. There would be many line-up changes in the years to come, with Sylvester once again being the only constant. The album Panic was partially recorded in the US, with Neil Kernon as a producer, because the band liked his work for artists like Queensrÿche, Judas Priest, Dokken, Nevermore, David Bowie, Rush and Skrew and had, according to Sylvester, “a particular touch in the dark side of Heavy Metal [...] that we were looking for”.
In August 2010, Jake recorded his first solo instrumental EP In the Shadows of Madness with respected producer JJ Crews of Boogie Tracks in Panama City, Florida. In April 2011, the EP was mastered by mastering pro Maor Applebaum (Yngwie, Tony McAlpine, Rob Halford) and released a few weeks later. ITSM, which features Adam Sagan (Echoterra, Into Eternity) on drums and Noah Martin (Arsis) on bass guitar showcases Dreyer's many years of study under such masters as Chris Broderick (Megadeth, Jag Panzer, Nevermore), David Shankle (David Shankle Group, Manowar), and Rusty Cooley(Outworld). Positive reviews for ITSM appeared on websites all over the world.
Octavarium received mixed reviews from fans and has been the subject of spirited debate. Octavarium was the last album under their seven-album deal with Elektra Records, which had inherited the contract upon its absorption of EastWest Records. Dream Theater started the Octavarium Tour extensively throughout 2005 and 2006 to celebrate their 20th Anniversary as a band, including a headlining spot on Gigantour alongside Megadeth and put together by frontman Dave Mustaine, also featuring Fear Factory, Nevermore and Symphony X. During a show on August 2, 2005 in Dallas, the band paid tribute to Pantera's late guitarist Dimebag Darrell by performing the song "Cemetery Gates" as an encore.
In 2002 Ross illustrated the 100th anniversary edition of Owen Wister's novel, The Virginian. Ross' first plywood installation was a 1976 cutout of Clint Eastwood, which he and a friend placed as a prank above a railroad trestle to recreate a scene from Dirty Harry in the location where the scene had been filmed five years earlier. In 1983 Ross created "154 Nevermore", an installation of 154 plywood ravens on a highway in Jackson, Wyoming (recreated in steel in 2000). In 1984, Ross created "the Catch", a diorama for the Baseball Hall of Fame illustrating a legendary catch with the same nickname, by Willie Mays in the 1954 World Series.
The band started working on its debut album which was completed in 2012. The album entitled "Livin' Experiments" was recorded and mixed at Underground Music Studios (Greece) and mastered at Gate Studios (Germany) by Michael Rodenberg (Kamelot, Edguy, Rhapsody of Fire etc.). For the album cover, the band worked with Travis Smith (Nevermore, Iced Earth, Opeth etc.). Meanwhile, the band kept promoting its work through live shows around Greece in metal festivals (Hellenic Heavy Metal bands fest, Golden Apple Fest, Ayia Napa Youth Fest), sharing the stage with bands like Fates Warning, Firewind, Maiden uniteD, Visions of Atlantis and many more, aiming to gain experience and a stronger fan base.
Dimebag Darrell of Pantera was offered the job, but the deal fell through after Mustaine refused his request to recruit his brother, Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, as he had already hired Menza. The offer was also extended to Criss Oliva who also declined as he did not want to leave Savatage. Jeff Loomis, who would later go on to form progressive metal titans Nevermore, also auditioned though Mustaine deemed him too young to join as Loomis was only 18 at the time. Megadeth performing at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama in July 1991 Marty Friedman filled the guitarist position at the recommendation of Ron Laffitte, a member of Capitol management.
The comic tells of the unlife and adventures of the title character and her similarly odd (if not odder) friends. The story takes place in a small town called Nevermore (taking its name from the same poem as Lenore's namesake "The Raven") and the surrounding wilderness where Lenore's mansion and a nearby graveyard are situated. The primary focus of the graphic novel is dark humor, with many of the stories having twist endings. Common themes are the reinvention of children's songs, games, and nursery rhymes to something more macabre, and subverting all sorts of pop culture icons and cultural figures into topics of dark comedy.
A 1914 essay about Edgar Allan Poe's choice of the word "Nevermore" in his 1845 poem "The Raven" as being based on euphony may have spawned an unverified legend, propagated by syndicated columnists like Frank Colby in 1949 and L. M. Boyd in 1979, that cellar door was Poe's favorite phrase. Among the creations first appearing therein was Darkseid, an alien warlord powerful enough to pose a great threat to Superman himself. During this same time period, editor Mort Weisinger was replaced by Julius Schwartz, who wanted to transition Superman to a more modern and realistic form. To this end, Schwartz recruited up-and-coming talents such as writers Dennis O'Neil, Elliot S. Maggin, Cary Bates, and cover artist Neal Adams, as well as veteran Superman artists Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson. This shift was marked by a major storyline entitled Kryptonite Nevermore, written by O'Neil, that significantly lowered Superman's power level and eliminated most of the kryptonite on Earth.

John K wrote the third installment titled Cannibalised in 2006–7 and also like the last two albums, he engineered the recordings.

Psychotic Waltz reunited with its original line-up in 2010, touring Europe in support of Nevermore and Symphony X on The Power Of Metal tour, and have played various festival shows. Century Media Records released each of the band's four albums on vinyl individually, and also created a 6–LP box set titled "The Architects Arise: The First Ten Years" (limited to 500 copies) which contained the four albums plus demo recordings. The band also started to write material for a fifth studio album, which would be their first release in two decades. In July 2019, Psychotic Waltz signed to Inside Out Music and entered the studio to record their first album in 23 years.
The Year of the Voyager is a double DVD/CD released by Nevermore. It was released in Europe on October 20, 2008 and in North America on November 25, 2008 via Century Media. The set covers the This Godless Endeavor touring cycle, starting with live footage from the U.S. Gigantour 2005, the Metal Mania festival 2006 in Poland, the Wacken Open Air festival in 2006 in Germany and the main DVD show recorded at the Zeche in Bochum, Germany. Bonus material includes two songs from Century Media USA 10th Anniversary Party 2001, all promo videos and an interview with singer Warrel Dane which was recorded at the Roax Film Studios in Berlin in the spring of 2008.
The self-titled debut album sold around 900 copies in the US in its first week of release, landing at position No. 41 on the "Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers)" chart. This is the only full-length record Mutiny Within had with Roadrunner Records and former drummer Bill Fore; he parted ways from the band months after the album release, on July 7, 2010. Wishing him the best of luck on moving forward, he was temporarily replaced with 25-year-old Chad Anthony, who is also from New Jersey. They were searching for a permanent drummer for a few months, and to do so, they cancelled their touring with Nevermore to take the time to properly audition and rehearse.

Donnelly worked with Disney again in 2017, when she published Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book, an original story to accompany the blockbuster Beauty and the Beast film. Lost in a Book expands on the classic tale, exploring the growing friendship between Belle and the Beast as well as Belle's ordeal within the pages of Nevermore, a magical book from which she narrowly escapes. Lost in a Book spent four months on the New York Times bestseller list, and rights have been sold in 11 countries.

In an interview with Roadrunner Records, Heafy stated he was influenced by a whole range of music genres. Through each stage in his life, he's listened to all different types of music. As a child, he listened to pop punk and ska punk bands like Blink-182, and Reel Big Fish.

Christopher Alan Broderick (born March 6, 1970) is an American musician, best known as the former guitarist of the American heavy metal band Megadeth. He is also formerly the lead guitarist and keyboardist for Jag Panzer, appearing on four of Jag Panzer's albums The Age of Mastery, Thane to the Throne (a concept album about Shakespeare's Macbeth), Mechanized Warfare and Casting the Stones before moving on to Megadeth, replacing Glen Drover. Before joining Megadeth and while still in Jag Panzer, he was also a touring guitarist for Nevermore between 2001 and 2003 and then again between 2006 and 2007. He is now the lead guitarist for Act of Defiance, which he formed with fellow ex-Megadeth bandmate, Shawn Drover.
After Myth disbanded, Gray played in several bands, including Fire Choir and Dog Daze (formerly Lyon House), frequently together with his Myth-bandmate Gibson. Several of these bands were managed by Kim Harris, the owner of Easy Street Records, Gray then went into a recording engineering career, working on various albums in the capacity of recording engineer, mixer, and eventually, producer for among others Shadowlife by Dokken, the eponymous debut album of Candlebox, Brother Cane, Sven Gali, Bob Rivers, Nevermore, Second Coming, and Yianni "Johnny" Bacolas. In 1998, Gray rejoined former Myth bandmate Tate when he became a guitarist in Queensrÿche. Gray produced their 1999 album, Q2K, and plays on the 2001 live album and DVD, Live Evolution.
Realizing their sophomore album had to be something really special, Lotesto contacted Grammy winning producer, Neil Kernon (Queensrÿche, Judas Priest, Nevermore, Hall & Oates, etc.), who agreed to produce, engineer, and mix the new album. The sessions for Reigning Memories began in July 2001 but were plagued by a variety of technical and scheduling problems that lead to drastic delays and frustration. During the sessions, the band parted with Quigley in November 2002 and Gordon was brought in the studio to redo all the bass tracks. The album was mixed in December, mastered in March, and released as a 'US only' limited release in May 2003 on Majesphere Records, as the band continued to shop for a larger label home.

Also, I think the combination of Peter and Andy (production & mixing) will result in something very, very special." Jeff Loomis commented on the writing of the album: "I think that with the new Nevermore, it still sounds like the band, but I think I'm giving Warrel a little bit more room this time around for more vocals rather than all the notey, kind of complex stuff and all that, so this time around it's just a little bit more wide open musically for him to really be able to do whatever he wants vocally this time around. So we'll see what happens.

The fourth studio album, 999, recorded in Austria at the Art Noise Studio in Wels,999 at Discogs beside Krajnović, P.J and Milunović, who produced the album, featured bassist Miroslav Mijatović "Mire", a former Pero Defformero member.
Like Rivette's earlier film La Belle Noiseuse, the main themes are romantic longing, impermanence, and identity, but this film adds the themes of mortality, chance, and destiny, and motifs are repeated from Rivette's Celine and Julie Go Boating. The name of Julien's cat, Nevermore, evokes Poe's The Raven and its similar themes of death and longing. Julien's work as a clockmaker, literally trying to repair time, is an obvious metaphor, and the film is also timeless, giving no indication of when it is set. The blackmail sub-plot is a device to help tell the central love story between Marie and Julien and to explain Marie's situation; Julien is an unlikely blackmailer and Madame X's benevolence towards him is surprising.
Other paintings include Vincent van Gogh's Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear and Peach Blossoms in the Crau, Gauguin's Nevermore and Te Rerioa, and important works by Seurat, Henri "le Douanier" Rousseau, Toulouse-Lautrec and Modigliani. Further bequests were added after the Second World War, most notably the collection of Old Master paintings assembled by Lord Lee, a founder of the Institute. Sir Robert Witt, also a founder of the Courtauld Institute, was an outstanding benefactor and bequeathed his important collection of Old Master and British drawings in 1952. His bequest included 20,000 prints and more than 3000 drawings.
For the recording of "Silent Company" recorded his drum tracks in Germany with Piet Sielck of Iron Savior whilst the remainder of the band recorded their tracks at Palm Studios in Melbourne with producer Endel Rivers. The album's release was preceded by a short tour of Europe, where the band gained exposure to their primary market by playing solo shows and gaining spots on festivals featuring bands such as HammerFall and Edguy. On the band's return to Australia they launched the album with additional solo dates before touring with British band DragonForce and American metal group Nevermore. The band then began writing songs for their next album while sporadically performing live shows, focusing on the writing and recording of their third studio effort.

Of his production career, Sneap holds the distinction of having been credited as a producer, mixer or engineer on all six of Testament's albums since The Gathering (1999) – including the collection of re-recorded material First Strike Still Deadly (2001) – as well as all seven of Exodus' releases since the live album Another Lesson in Violence (1997). He also mixed Megadeth's show from the DVD The Big Four: Live from Sofia, Bulgaria, also featuring Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax.
In October 2002, Novembers Doom entered the studio to begin work on their second full-length of new material for Dark Symphonies. The band's fourth full-length album would be entitled To Welcome the Fade, only this time they recruited the talents of the Grammy Award-winning producer, Neil Kernon. Kernon, best known for his work with acts like Hall & Oates, Kansas, Yes, Queensrÿche, Judas Priest, and more recently Nevermore and Cannibal Corpse, brought a new power and clarity to the sound of the band. This album was chosen as the Number One metal album of 2002 in Metal Maniacs magazine by one of its head editors, Novembers Doom was also a featured cover story on their January 2003 issue.
The first single from the album, "Nevermore", premiered on May 22, 2015. The band released the second single, "Without You", on June 19, 2015, and was made available for digital download. According to singer Russell Allen, the band entered a short hiatus during 2017 in which they did not perform, due in part to his commitment to Adrenaline Mob, although it was announced during a January 2018 interview with Metal Nation that the band had plans to get together in the following months and begin writing a follow up to Underworld. On July 14, 2017, Adrenaline Mob was involved in a serious vehicular accident, which resulted in severe injuries for Allen and the death of the band's bassist and their tour manager.

Tool scheduled an headlining show at 013 in Tilburg on the day they were supposed to play, while Slipknot and few other bands played a "mini-festival" at Maaspoort in Den Bosch on May 25th.

Protest the Hero continued their efforts to promote Scurrilous and have commenced a 2012 UK Tour that features support from German post-metal band, Long Distance Calling, Norwegian punk band Blood Command and Uneven Structure. They announced tours with Periphery, Today I Caught the Plague, Jeff Loomis (formerly of Nevermore) and The Safety Fire for the US. Another tour is scheduled with metalcore band Underoath, We Came as Romans and Close Your Eyes commencing in May in South America. On August 27, 2013, the band announced a fall North American tour, along with Architects, The Kindred and Affiance, promoting their album Volition commencing in Ottawa on November 7, 2013. In August 2015, it was announced that Protest the Hero would embark on a Canadian tour for the 10-year anniversary of their debut album Kezia, featuring the band's original line-up playing the album in its entirety.
Mixing and mastering of the album was done by Jonas Kjellgren at The Abyss studios. The band's debut full-length album, entitled In Sin We'll Find Salvation was releases on August 1, 2009 at Wacken Open Air festival in Germany, where the band performed again, and August 3, 2009 in the rest of Europe.
