(In some of these pictures the spring is removed) When the gun is fired, the barrel, slide and locking piece (right side of picture) will move backwards a short distance, while the locking piece will be stopped by a tab on the frame, shown on the left with a stick pointing out the mating surface. This is done either standing or sitting were people move side to side on their seats via the upper body. Sometimes people will also move backwards and forwards, as well as stand up sit down movements. The word is believed to derive from the German word for an outdoor swing, this being in reference to the similar movement of a swing which is Schaukel and Schunkel which is the Upper Saxon German dialect version of the same word.

Because the film track and music track are recorded separately during the creation of a music video, artists usually lip-sync their songs and often imitate playing musical instruments as well. Artists also sometimes move their lips at a faster speed than the recorded track, to create videos with a slow-motion effect in the final clip, which is widely considered to be complex to achieve. The STL implements five different types of iterators. Operation of a typical IME Sophisticated kana to kanji converters (known collectively as input method editors, or IMEs), allow conversion of multiple kana words into kanji at once, freeing the user from having to do a conversion at each stage. The user can convert at any stage of input by pressing the space bar or henkan button, and the converter attempts to guess the correct division of words.
