Saint Madeleine and Saint Catherine, also known as Saint Catherine and Saint Madeleine, is a circa 1440 religious painting by the German Gothic artist Konrad Witz. The painting was legated to the city of Strasbourg by the canon , and entered the collections in 1893. It is on display in the Musée de l'Œuvre Notre-Dame. Its inventory number is MBA 97 ("MBA" stands for Musée des Beaux- Arts).

Her two catalogues are still considered irreplaceable reference works. The room displaying her collection in the Brussels Museum still bears her name and is adorned with a bust of her sculpted by Thomas Vinçotte. 764 Pieces from her collection were donated to the museum, while her library was legated to the art school of La Cambre after her death in Brussels in 1929. The chemist and professor Jacques Errera was the second of her children.

193 The text was written by August Silberstein, who had already provided poems set to music by Bruckner (Germanenzug in 1864 and Vaterlandslied in 1866). The setting was a case of interest, as the Frisian island of Heligoland had just been given to Germany in 1890 by Great Britain (in exchange for Zanzibar). Helgoland was conducted on 8 October 1893 by the Men's Choir of Vienna and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra under Eduard Kremser's baton in the Winterreitschule of the Hofburg Palace. Bruckner legated the manuscript to the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek.

Francis II left workers, employed in castle constructions, short. Till his death he used the castle, which his widow Mary then used until she deceased in 1626.She legated the castle to her son Francis Henry, who in 1658 bequeathed it to his daughters Erdmuthe Sophia and Eleanor Charlotte. After the former's death in 1689 the latter owned Franzhagen alone. After her husband Duke Christian Adolphus of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg went bankrupt with his possessions in 1677, they lived in Franzhagen founding the short-lived dynastic line of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Franzhagen.

His collection of 463 paintings was partly legated to this elder brother Marcantonio Doria (born 1572) after the death of Giovanni, and elements of it would stay in the possession of the family for centuries. Three inventories of the collection are known, one from 1617, a revised one from ca. 1621, and one from after his death in 1625. "Tavola Doria" by Leonardo da Vinci, now in the Uffizi One piece in it is a "Cavalry Battle" by Leonardo da Vinci, now known as the "Tavola Doria" and considered a copy by Da Vinci of part of his own lost "Battle of Anghiari" fresco.

His fundamental works on the history of Russian gravure and lubok were the first ones of the kind. His historical and bibliographical treatises, rich in actual data were highly estimated by art critics and have kept up their significance till date. Being the publisher of his own works, Dmitry Rovinsky paid a great attention to polygraphic processes (was one of the first who applied the heliograph) and printed books on excellent paper, with superb design, etc. Rovinsky signed away some of his assets to establish prizes for the best illustrated books for common folks, the best research work on art archeology and the best painting, in turn. Rovinsky’s unique collection of etchings and other art works, as well his library were legated to the Hermitage Museum, Rumyantsev’s Museum, the Public Library and the Academy of Arts.
