The Winnipeg Blue Bombers were most often on the receiving end of Argo Grey Cup victories in this era. From 1933 to 1941 Lew Hayman coached the team with a still unparalleled winning ratio of 45–15–2. Their first back-to-back Grey Cups came in 1937 and 1938.

After accumulated losses of $4 million, Grey first tried and failed to dismiss Marinkovich on the grounds that his employment was terminated due to his employment contract having expired. Grey then proceeded to suspend Marinkovich, which he responded to by saying he would come and clear out his office at Grey, which Grey's solicitors argued was a resignation (which Marinkovich denied). Grey then refused to pay his outstanding holiday pay, his two weeks' notice or to buy out his 25% share in the company.

A Tasmanian Grey cow The Tasmanian Grey is a polled beef breed of silver grey, grey or dun cattle developed in Tasmania, Australia, in the 1930s. Bill Reed of Parknook crossed an Angus bull with a white Shorthorn milking cow that produced grey offspring. Beattie, Popular Books,1990 The bull, Parknook Thomas was mated to Angus heifers to form the nucleus of the breed.

Grey in 1895 Prior to the Foreign Office vote on 28 March 1895, Grey asked Lord Kimberley, the new Foreign Secretary, for direction as to how he should answer any question about French activities in West Africa. According to Grey, Kimberley suggested "pretty firm language."Viscount Grey, Twenty Five Years, 1892–1916 (London, 1925), p. 18. In fact, West Africa was not mentioned, but when pressed on possible French activities in the Nile Valley Grey stated that a French expedition "would be an unfriendly act and would be so viewed by England."Quoted in Viscount Grey, Twenty Five Years, 1892–1916 (London, 1925), p.20.
Following Dr Steiner, Dr Daniels proposed that the English Grey gene is autosomal and incompletely dominant to its wild-type allele. In the visual English Grey the depth of the cloudy zone is known to be very small, just 1-2μ. He suggested that the English Grey gene reduces the depth of the cloudy zone rather as the Dark gene does, although perhaps to a slightly greater degree. A blue series bird heterozygous for English Grey would have an appearance very similar to a Cobalt, maybe a little darker, and a bird homozygous for English Grey would appear grey, as described in Appearance above.
