Edward Underhill (1512 – 1576 or later), of Hunningham and Baginton, Warwickshire and Limehouse, Middlesex, was an English politician. Underhill was a gospeller. He was an MP for Tavistock in March 1553.

He served in the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1920 to 1922 as a Labour representative. In 1925, he became a member of the Communist Party of Canada.

Warrimoo retains many historical homes and buildings throughout the village including a distillery (where the local public school now sits) and a former 'Bordillo'. Epke Mueller was a social gospeller who had studied at Boston University under Borden Parker Bowne and Albert C. Knudson. Walter Muelder completed his undergraduate education at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, in 1927 before earning a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree and a Doctorate of Philosophy in philosophy at the Boston University School of Theology in 1930 and 1933 respectively. His doctoral dissertation, written under the supervision of Edgar S. Brightman, was titled Individual Totalities in Ernst Troeltsch's Philosophy of History. As a theologian he helped develop the Boston school of personalism into a Christian social ethic at a time when social ethics was still a relatively new term.

According to the parish register he was presented to the benefice in 1573, and held it until 1593, the date of his death. Early in 1587 Anderson was appointed to the vicarage of Stepney near London, and to the rectory of Dengie in Essex, both of which he appears to have held in conjunction with his living in Leicestershire.Richard Newcourt, Repertorium Ecclesiasticum (1708). In July 1592 he was promoted to the office of subdean of the Chapel Royal, after having held for some years previously the post of ‘gospeller’ there; and his name is found appended to many documents, relating to the management of the Chapel Royal, still preserved among its archives.

A special service is still held in the chapel every June and is attended by members of the order. Their heraldic banners hang above the upper stalls of the choir, where they have a seat for life. The Horseshoe Cloister, built in 1480 and reconstructed in the 19th century The period 1475–1528 saw a radical redevelopment of St. George's Chapel set in motion by Edward IV and continued by Henry VII under the supervision of his most esteemed counsellor, Sir Reginald Bray (later Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster), and by Henry VIII. The thirteenth-century Chapel of St. Edward the Confessor was enlarged into a cathedral-like space under the direction of Richard Beauchamp, Bishop of Salisbury, and the master mason, Henry Janyns. The Horseshoe Cloister was constructed for the new community of 45 junior members: 16 vicars, a deacon gospeller, 13 lay clerks, 2 clerk epistolers and 13 choristers.
