Fisher's best-known songs include "You Are So Beautiful", "Will It Go Round In Circles", and "Nothing from Nothing", all co-written with Preston before 1973.

All members were present at the Rothbury Music Festival in Rothbury, Michigan, performing with their respective solo projects. The Kyle Hollingsworth Band and EOTO performed on Thursday, Panjea with Michael Kang and Keller Williams featuring Keith Moseley performed on Friday, and the Emmitt-Nershi Band performed on Saturday. Also, at Yarmony grass festival All members except for Keith got together and played a Will it Go 'Round in Circles together, as well as Pretty Polly.

Later that year, Preston contributed the title song to the hit blaxploitation film Slaughter starring Jim Brown. Over the next two years, Preston followed up with the US chart- topping singles "Will It Go Round in Circles" (which displaced Harrison's "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" at the top on 7 July 1973) and "Nothing from Nothing", and the number 4 hit "Space Race". Each of the three singles sold in excess of 1 million copies.

Born in Washington D.C., Fisher was raised in Chicago, Illinois, by his grandmother. He moved to Los Angeles, California, in the early 1970s, where he currently resides. Fisher's best-known songs include "You Are So Beautiful", "Will It Go Round In Circles", and "Nothing from Nothing", all co- written with Preston before 1973. With his first LP release, Red Hot in 1977, he worked with Roy Ayers, Keni Burke (with whom he wrote the title song), Charles Earland, Mtume and the Brecker Brothers in 1977.

William Everett Preston (September 2, 1946 – June 6, 2006) was an American musician whose work encompassed R&B;, rock, soul, funk, and gospel. Preston was a top session keyboardist in the 1960s, during which he backed artists such as Little Richard, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Everly Brothers, Reverend James Cleveland, and the Beatles. He went on to achieve fame as a solo artist with hit singles such as "That's the Way God Planned It", the Grammy-winning "Outa-Space", "Will It Go Round in Circles", "Space Race", "Nothing from Nothing", and "With You I'm Born Again". Additionally, Preston co-wrote "You Are So Beautiful", which became a #5 hit for Joe Cocker.

"Nothing from Nothing" is a song written by Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher and recorded by Billy Preston for his 1974 album The Kids & Me. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week in October 1974, becoming Preston's second solo chart-topper in the United States (following his 1973 hit "Will It Go Round in Circles"). It spent four and a half months on the chart. Preston performed "Nothing from Nothing" later on Saturday Night Live—the first musical performance ever on the show. The song was also used in late 2002 for all GM brand commercials, and prominently featured in the 2008 film Be Kind Rewind.

Band from TV appeared on the 2008 Idol Gives Back charity fundraiser with Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats", and made their first official TV appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 16, 2009, performing Billy Preston's "Will It Go Round in Circles". On December 4, 2010, Band From TV performed at the Avalon in honor of Ronnie Lippin and to raise money for the Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information Resource Line. Stars such as Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer were on hand for the show as Jesse sang "John O'Reilly" by Charlie Robison. Band from TV has not been very active following nearly steady performances from April 2008 to June 2012, with only one performance in 2013, none in 2014, and one in 2015.

There Goes Rhymin' Simon is the third solo studio album by American musician Paul Simon rush-released on May 5, 1973. It contains songs covering several styles and genres, such as gospel ("Loves Me Like a Rock") and Dixieland ("Take Me to the Mardi Gras"). It received two nominations at the Grammy Awards of 1974, including Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and Album of the Year.
