After passing Vineyard Lake, the highway curves towards the southwest as it passes several other smaller lakes and heads towards Wamplers Lake. M-124 passes between Wamplers and Mud lakes, curving around the eastern side of Wamplers Lake as it enters Walter J. Hayes State Park from the north.

A long sickle shaped ridge extends from the summit of Swirl How, first north and then curving around to the east. Great Carrs is the high point of this ridge, which continues as Wet Side Edge, falling to the floor of Little Langdale.
SR 357 begins at a partial interchange with SR 75 in Blountville, where the road continues east for a short distance, as Airport Parkway, into the main entrance of the Tri-Cities Regional Airport. It then goes west for a short distance before it turns north just before an interchange with Centenary Road. SR 357 then passes by a rock quarry before curving around a small ridge to have an interchange with Shipley Ferry Road. It then curves back around before ending at I-81 (Exit 263), where the road continues as narrow local road.
The layout of the estate was such that no house would look directly onto another, with properties curving around meandering walkways and a complex network of through routes to Halfway Drive. This main road is the thoroughfare linking the village to both the Derbyshire county boundary and neighbouring estates of Westfield and Waterthorpe. Despite being a well-planned and high-quality overall project, the estate today suffers in part from crime and has been called, on the Sheffield City Council website, as an area to work actively towards safer communities.
The railway siding comprised two tracks which entered the site near the south-eastern end across Young Street. These tracks converged at the northern end of the butter stores curving around the northern end of the factory and exiting to the main railway line at the north western end of the site. A spur off this siding returned around the factory along its western face. Sections of the track survive near the Young Street boundary, at the rear of the butter stores and to the west of the factory.

The freeway intersects the northern end of the business loop immediately east of downtown at an interchange that also features US 12 (Chicago Road). A third interchange, some further north, features a distribution center for Walmart stores in the region. Further north, the freeway curves around to the northwest into Calhoun County and crosses over the St. Joseph River. I-69/US 27 turned back northward and bypassed Tekonsha to the town's west, intersecting M-60 in the process. Curving around Nottawa Lake, I-69/US 27 continued northward through southern Calhoun County.
The name of the hill and neighborhood, Vidikovac, is Serbian for lookout, observation point. Vidikovac is projected as a series of skyscrapers (up to 24 floors) constructed in a small concentric circles within larger circles represented by circular streets. The main street curving around the neighborhood is Vidikovački venac, the Patrijarha Joanikija goes right through the middle of the neighborhood while Ibarska magistrala and Pilota Mihaila Petrovića street form the outer border of the neighborhood. The area is residential with a highly developing commercial sector since the 1990s.

The family who first commissioned the design was one Cyrus Lawton, a close friend of Mr. Davis. Rainfall summary for Hurricane Jeanne As Hurricane Jeanne moved inland, its inner eyewall dissipated, and its outer eyewall quickly became less distinct. It turned west-northwestward over the state, curving around the western periphery of the ridge to its northeast. By 14 hours after landfall, Jeanne weakened to tropical storm status near the Tampa Bay area. In western Florida, offshore winds produced a tide of 4.5 feet (1.4 m) below normal in Cedar Key; however, after the storm passed the area, the onshore winds produced above normal tides.
Old US 66 continued in a straight southeasterly direction for , then made a long curve south and east around a large volcanic bluff. After curving around the bluff, US 66 continued into Seligman, becoming Chino Street (today part of the Seligman I-40 Business Loop) into the center of town. Seligman is the birthplace of the first Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona, established by local barber Angel Delgadillo in 1987. The association obtained the first "Historic Route 66" designation, which the state initially placed on the segment of US 66 between Kingman and Seligman.
A jestrum piercing, also known as a vertical medusa, is an upper lip piercing that is very similar to a labret piercing, or more specifically a vertical labret piercing. It is placed in the philtrum of the upper lip, directly under the nasal septum. Unlike the similar medusa piercing, a jestrum piercing uses a curved bar-bell, and both ends of the piercing are visible externally with the lower part of the bar-bell curving around the underside of the upper lip. Sometimes it is combined with a lower labret piercing to form a symmetrical look.
This land stretched from Spuyten Duyvil to present-day Yonkers along the Hudson coastline. Van Corlear Place, which comprises half of a U-shaped street curving around Marble Hill, has detached one- and two-family homes in addition to a few brick townhouses. It was named after Anthony Van Corlaer, a messenger of New Amsterdam Governor-General Peter Stuyvesant who was sent to the mainland Bronx for backup soldiers following reports of attempts by British forces to seize New Amsterdam. In Washington Irving's book A History of New York, van Corlaer is said to have drowned while crossing Spuyten Duyvil Creek.
The production car changed little from the prototype, although the full-width rear bumper was dropped in favour of two part-bumpers curving around each corner, with overriders. The mechanicals were basically from a stock Herald with the notable addition of front disc brakes. The engine was an four-cylinder with a pushrod OHV cylinder head and two valves per cylinder, mildly tuned for the Spitfire, fed by twin SU carburettors. Quickly accelerating westward due to a subtropical ridge, Isaac later moved past the Lesser Antilles between Guadeloupe and Dominica by August 23, where it caused numerous mudslides and power outages. Maintaining tropical storm intensity, Isaac later made its first landfall on the southern coast of Haiti early on August 25 as a result of curving around the ridge of high-pressure. There the storm directly killed 24 people, worsening conditions still remaining after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Isaac later began to curve westwards due to wind patterns which brought it between two opposingly rotating cyclonic systems.

A study of three potential reverses resulted in the approval of a very simple design bearing two wheatheads in memorial style. Between these, in the center of the coin, are the denomination and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, while curving around the upper border is the national motto, E Pluribus Unum, Latin for "Out of Many, One". The original model bore Brenner's name on the reverse, curving along the rim below UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Before the coins were issued, however, the initials "VDB" were substituted because officials at the United States Mint felt the name was too prominent.

The original rail line followed what is now Lawrence Hargrave Drive, curving around the southern headland and through Stanwell Park. The station opened on 14 March 1890 at its original site opposite Station Street under the footbridge. To the north the line followed Chellow Dene Avenue to the Otford Tunnel through Bald Hill. A platform was provided on the eastern side on 24 April 1890, and was moved to the western side to make room for a crossing loop which opened on 23 December 1901. Station buildings were added on 4 June 1903 and a signal box on 17 May 1909.
The Kitwanga River is a tributary of the Skeena River near Hazelton in northwestern British Columbia, Canada, joining that stream at the community of Kitwanga (Gitwangak), which means "people of the place of rabbits". The river is approximately long, beginning in the mountains to the northwest and curving around via and including long Kitwancool Lake before heading south for to the confluence with the Skeena. Just north of Kitwancool Lake is a level pass with the upper basin of the Cranberry River, a tributary of the Nass. The Kispiox Range lies west of the valley of the Kitwanga and Cranberry rivers.
The Skylark is a pusher- style design with a single Volkswagen air-cooled engine above and behind the fully enclosed cockpit. The cockpit seats two occupants in side-by-side configuration, with a large Plexiglas canopy curving around both occupants. The tail is a twin-boom arrangement attached at the trailing edge of the wings, allowing clearance for the pusher propeller above and within the booms. The landing gear is a tricycle arrangement with the nose gear positioned at the foremost point of the nose and the two main gear semi-recessed into teardrop-shaped fairings on the lower sides.
Middle Branch Reservoir The combined influence of the New York City water supply system's Croton Watershed, which includes most of the bodies of water along this stretch of US 6, and affluent residents who build on very large lots, keeps this area lightly developed. Leaving Mahopac, US 6 curves past the south end of West Branch Reservoir and controlled Lake Gleneida to its next highway junction, the east end of NY 52 at Reed Memorial Library just south of the county seat, Carmel. The highway immediately turns toward the south again, curving around Middle Branch Reservoir at Tilly Foster to the west terminus of NY 312\.
More specifically the name was taken from the large Norreys Avenue, which now runs through the southern portion of the estate. This road was built on arable farmland in the late 1940s as emergency housing during World War II. The area contains many houses, mostly built in the 1960s, including much of Ashridge Road, Budges Road, Eustace Crescent, Barrett Crescent and Longs Way. After London Road and Finchampstead Road, Norreys Avenue is one of the largest residential roads in Wokingham. It starts off at a junction off Wiltshire Road, heads slightly NNE before turning sharply north, then east, the curving around back to a southern direction, forming the distinctive "n" shape.
Strobilopteridae is an extinct family of eurypterids that lived in the Silurian and Devonian periods. The family is one of three families contained in the superfamily Eurypteroidea (along with Dolichopteridae and Eurypteridae), which in turn is one of the superfamilies classified as part of the suborder Eurypterina. The family contains two genera, Buffalopterus and Strobilopterus. Strobilopterids were eurypterines with semicircular carapaces, a short appendage VI that barely projected from beneath the carapace, ornamentation on the carapace radiating from the lateral eyes and curving around the margins of the carapace and a row of angular scales across the posterior of the tergites on the metasoma.
The highway continues to the northeast along farmland and the shore of Green Lake to Chisago City, where it meets up with County Road 22 (CR 22). US 8 follows Lake Boulevard through Chisago City along the isthmus between the larger Chisago Lake and the smaller Wallmark Lake on the eastern side of town. The highway turns along a more easterly path in Lindström between North and South Lindström lakes. East of those lakes, US 8 crosses into the town of Center City. In Center City, US 8 runs between North and South Center lakes, curving around the north shore of South Center Lake.
The roof was also given a more upright stance to increase headroom, which can be evidenced by the thicker C-pillar and larger area between the tops of the doors and the top of the roof. The interior was also completely redesigned with a more conventional shape, although some features from the previous Taurus generations were carried over. The dashboard was given a squarer design instead of curving around the driver as in the previous generation. The "integrated control panel" concept was carried over but redesigned, with a bigger, squarer shape, and it was placed in the center of the dash instead of being angled toward the driver.

The crossing underneath the two bridges has extremely low clearance and possesses a sign requiring bicyclists to dismount.
Superficial to the carotid sheath lies the hypoglossal nerve and ansa cervicalis of the cervical plexus. The hypoglossal nerve crosses both the internal and external carotids, curving around the origin of the occipital artery. Within the sheath, between the artery and vein, and behind both, is the vagus nerve; behind the sheath, the sympathetic trunk. On the lateral side of the vessels, the accessory nerve runs for a short distance before it pierces the Sternocleidomastoideus; and on the medial side of the external carotid, just below the hyoid bone, the internal branch of the superior laryngeal nerve may be seen; and, still more inferiorly, the external branch of the same nerve.
Also as part of the ATP project, a two kilometre section of the tracks near the Pak Shek Kok reclamation, curving around the former coastline, was straightened out during the mid-1990s. To the east is Carlsleddam, a steep sided spur that appears sharply peaked from below: though less inspiring close up it does have a narrow and airy summit ridge.Wainwright, Alfred: A Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells,Book 5 The Northern Fells: The north-western connection to Long Side is a narrower ridge with rough ground to the north, bounding the head of Southerndale. Southerndale Beck, like all of the waters of Carl Side, ultimately finds its way to Bassenthwaite Lake, curving around the northern tip of Ullock Pike.
Between 1955 and 1957, a freeway (presumably I-85) was under construction from northeast Atlanta northeast to Suwannee, paralleling US 23/SR 13. Between 1957 and 1960, I-85 was completed as far north as what is now known as SR 317, which is located just southwest of what is now the southern terminus of I-985/SR 365, and by 1966, it was completed northeast of Atlanta within the state. In 1966, SR 365 was being projected as a freeway from its current southern terminus northeast and curving around the southeastern side of Gainesville. In 1969, the whole freeway section, with the exception of the southernmost portion from I-85 to US 23/SR 20, was completed.
Canvas Creek is a stream in Thompson-Nicola Regional District in the Interior region of British Columbia, Canada. It is in the Pacific Ocean drainage basin and is a right tributary of the North Thompson River. The creek begins on an unnamed alpine slope at an altitude of and flows mostly northeast, before curving around to a northwesterly direction to reach its mouth at the North Thompson River, at an altitude of , at a point west and upstream of the confluence of that river with the Albreda River and about the same distance from British Columbia Highway 5. The North Thompson River flows via the Thompson River and the Fraser River to the Pacific Ocean.
Looking into the station in 1983 Curving around the north of London before turning south into the City, the North London Line was, for most passengers, a slower route into the financial district than alternative options like taking the Underground or changing at Euston or King's Cross. By 1960, only 41 trains carrying 6,400 passengers arrived at Broad Street in the three morning peak hours. The line and station came in for criticism in the Beeching Report of 1963, whose recommendations resulted in the closing of many branch lines and stations across the country. Though Broad Street itself was not specifically listed for closure, it was earmarked as "stopping passenger services to be modified".
The forewings are greyish brown, with a conspicuous, yellowish white, serpentine patch at the apex, extending downward to the tornus and through the tornal cilia. Above it is a minute, white, outwardly oblique costal streak, beyond which the dark ground- colour is attenuate outward in a narrow marginal line curving around the apex. Parallel and adjacent to this line one still narrower, whitish ochreous in colour, separates it from a broader brownish ochreous band running through the cilia, following the curve around the apex. The outer portion of the cilia is white, narrowly tipped with grey, thus giving the appearance of five distinguishable lines of different shades of colour enclosing the apex.
The Toronto, Simcoe and Muskoka Junction Railway (TS&MJ;) was formed in 1869. Its line headed northeast from a junction at Allandale (now part of Barrie), curving around the tip of Lake Simcoe and passing through the townships which would eventually become Oro-Medonte on its way to Orillia, Washago, and ultimately Gravenhurst. Construction began in 1870, and in 1871 the company was leased to the Northern Railway of Canada and operated as a wholly owned subsidiary thereafter. Service began along the line later that year, with the first known railway station in the township being located at Hawkestone. A basic wooden station building was constructed in 1871, with more outbuildings constructed later.
Woodland Normanstone - 34th St NW and Fullton St NW (September 2020) In the late 19th century, the land was the home of two farms and some woods and trees. Following approval by the District Commissioners, Massachusetts Avenue was extended by way of a bridge over Rock Creek in 1904. In 1910, the 61st Congress allowed an exception to the typical street layout to a little bit of wilderness right in the middle of Washington. By curving around the hills, and by preserving the trees rather than cutting them, the developers created a neighborhood unlike most others in D.C. A group of real estate investors, called the Massachusetts Heights Company, purchased the area for over $2,000,000 in 1911.

The Svrljiški Timok (Serbian Cyrillic: , "Timok of Svrljig") is a river in Serbia, headwater of the Beli Timok. It rises north of the Mountains of Svrljig near the village of Šesti Gabar at elevation 1,078 m and flows to the west, curving around the northern slopes of the Mountains of Svrljig. It passes through many villages (Vlagovo, Manojlica, Guševac, Lozan, Okruglica, Crnoljevica, Beloinje), reaching the town of Svrljig, that gives its name to the river, which here gently turns to the north, and after passing through Niševac and Varoš makes a complete turn to the north-east. It runs through Palilula, Podvis and Rgošte, reaching Knjaževac, where it meets the Trgoviški Timok and together they form the Beli Timok.
The island is roughly shaped as a rounded triangle, with the top on the north. It is located in the valley of the Danube and on the east extends into the micro-region of Kožjak, within the Marsh of Kovilj (Koviljski Rit). It was created when the Danube shifted its course to the south and cut through its own meander curving around the northern slope of the Koševac Hill on the Syrmian side, northeast of the village of Krečedin. It appears as if being embedded into the Bačka mainland and the narrow arm of the Danube which separates it from the land is called Dunavac ("Little Danube") on the west and Arm of Gardinovac on the east side.
A later retrofit of the north stand's lower east section for handicapped access in the 1990s dropped capacity further to just under 29,000. The stadium was renovated again after the 2002 CFL season and had a new next-generation FieldTurf playing surface installed and the end zones were squared off. Shortly after the 2003 season, a new scoreboard was erected in the west end of the stadium; owing to sponsorship, it was known as Dofasco TigerVision. In 2012, the stadium had a large grandstand on one side of the field, with a small section curving around the end zone, and a separate grandstand on the opposite side of the field, with a capacity of just under 29,000.
As it winds northwest through the hills, the Elk Fork is met by Forked Run, Haw Run, Spruce Run, Claylick Run, and Rocklick Run. After curving around Horseshoe Bend, the creek is met by Welch Run, coming from the west; and just after the Elk Fork crosses into Ripley District, it is joined by Scale Run, flowing southwest out of Washington District. The third branch of Mill Creek in Washington District is the Tug Fork, formed by the confluence of the Bear Fork and Grasslick Creek in the center of the district. The Bear Fork arises in western Roane County, and winds northwest through Washington district, until it joins Grasslick Creek, flowing eastward out of Ripley District.
NY 263 northbound after NY 324 in Amherst The stores that have been almost continuously lining the road abate shortly after the interstate when it makes its only deviation from its straight course, curving around the north campus of SUNY Buffalo, where it was relocated in the early 1970s. Past the campus and a nearby office park, the road narrows to two lanes in the small suburban hamlet of Getzville, where NY 270 heads due north as Campbell Boulevard. North of Getzville the road continues straight through the much less developed, and more wooded, lands of East Amherst. After several miles, I-990 reaches its current end when both roadways terminate at the west side of the highway.
The river begins at Greenhill Lake in geographic Makawa Township and flows north, curving around the west side of the lake to eventually head southeast to Amik Lake. It continues south east then northeast through the north central part of geographic Amik Township, then enters geographic Nebotik Township at the southwest corner. The river continues northeast, then turns east and takes in the right tributary South Greenhill River. It continues east, enters geographic Conking Township, turns northeast, enters geographic Hayward Township, flows under the Canadian National Railway transcontinental railway main line between the railway points of Fire River to the west and Argolis to the east, a section of track travelled on by Via Rail transcontinental Canadian passenger trains, and reaches its mouth at the Missinaibi River.
The Atlantic and Great Western Railroad leased the C&M; in July 1863, and agreed to complete the line. Work on a new passenger depot on the Scranton Flats began in August 1863, and the tracks over the river to the new depot were completed on November 4. In March 1880, the Atlantic & Great Western emerged from bankruptcy as a new company, the New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio Railroad (NYP&O;). In the spring of 1886, the NYP&O; extended the tracks in Cleveland by crossing the western part of the Scranton Flats, curving around Irishtown Bend, and crossing "the Angle" (the next peninsula) to bridge the Old Ship Channel of the Cuyahoga River and reach Whiskey Island and the Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati Railroad.
US 25E/SR 32 then becomes undivided and gains a center turn as they turn northwest, where they join and begin an unsigned wrong-way concurrency with SR 33, just after crossing an arm of Norris Lake (Big Sycamore Creek). The highway then continues through countryside and farmland to the community of Springdale before curving around through a gap between two ridges and entering Tazewell. They bypass downtown to the east side before coming to an intersection with N Broad Street just on the north side, where SR 33 and goes south towards downtown and New Tazewell while US 25E/SR 32 turn north again. They have an intersection with SR 345 shortly afterwards before passing by several businesses before leaving Tazewell not too long afterwards.
After briefly converging with Columbus Circle as it curves around Union Station, Massachusetts enters Northwest D.C. in a rapidly changing neighborhood which has transitioned from earlier blight and decay to in the 21st century developing numerous high-rise apartment complexes. In the tradition of the acronym SoHo, realtors sometimes give this area the moniker NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue). It intersects with Interstate 395 (which runs underground at that point) at H Street NW, and passes over Mount Vernon Square in front of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Continuing northwest, Massachusetts enters an underpass below Thomas Circle at 14th and M Streets NW, before curving around Scott Circle at 16th and N Streets NW; this is considered the starting point of Embassy Row.
Between the inferior horn and the main body of the ventricle is the putamen, which emerges from the head of the caudate nucleus, and sits above the tapetum; a small number of further connections passing through the occipital tapetum to join the putamen to portions of the caudate nucleus tail adjoining the anterior horn. Below the putamen sits the globus pallidus, with which it connects.
