Västernorrland County is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It is conterminous with the county of Västernorrland. Västernorrland County currently elects eight of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the modified Sainte-Laguë method open party-list proportional representation electoral system.
The electoral wards are grouped into six parliamentary constituencies, although due to a different review cycle the ward and constituency boundaries are currently not all conterminous. While the majority of the areas are within the main urban area of Sheffield some of the outlying areas remain separated by rural land. The largest such area is Stocksbridge and Deepcar, which contains around 13,500 people. The rural two thirds of the city contains under 3,000 people.

The Menominee Indian Reservation is an Indian reservation located in northeastern Wisconsin held in trust by the United States for the Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin. Grosse Ile is the largest island in the Detroit River and is the most populated island in the state of Michigan. It is on the American side of the river and is part of Wayne County. The island is approximately 9.6 mi² (24.9 km²) and has a population of 10,894. The island is commonly believed to be conterminous with the overall Grosse Ile Township, but the township consists of over a dozen islands— many of which are very small and uninhabited.

The Cannock Built-up Area (known until 2013 in official statistics as the Cannock/Great Wyrley Urban Area) is an area of land in the central southern part of Staffordshire in the West Midlands region of England defined by the United Kingdom Office for National Statistics (ONS) for population monitoring purposes. It is an urban conurbation centred on Cannock that is covered by the settlements listed in the table below. It is not conterminous with administrative boundaries. The Service’s Wetlands Geodatabase contains five units (map areas) that are populated with digital vector data and raster images. These units include the conterminous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Trust Territories. Each unit of the geodatabase contains seamless digital map data in ArcSDE geodatabase format. For the purposes of the 1377 poll tax, the village possessed 74 taxable individuals, and it paid £1 4s 8d. Burreth, in what is now the district of East Lindsey in Lincolnshire, was recorded in the Domesday Book and last recorded as extant in 1381. Transnational governance, within a European Union framework, is both a subset of governance in general and an application of it to situations outside its usual limits of corporate or governmental hierarchies, whether regional or national. Wanstead Flats at Forest Gate Forest Gate is a residential district in east London, England, in the London Borough of Newham. It comprises six townlands: Cottrelstown, Folly, Jordanstown, Palmerstown, Whitestown, and Wolganstown. Wykagyl is frequently used in reference to the small business district of retail stores, restaurants, offices and condominium developments located at the center of the community which serves as the "Downtown" for many Northenders. The construction of the New York-Westchester-Boston Railroad line through the sparsely populated north end of New Rochelle in 1912 and its creation of a Wykagyl stop and Station gave rise to an entirely new residential and business section of the city.

In 1994, Greater London was designated as one of nine regions of England, which each had a government office up until they were abolished 2011. The Downtown Adrian Commercial Historic District is a historic district comprising the downtown area of Adrian, Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan Historic Site and added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 17, 1986.
