Commix is a drum and bass project now solely composed of George Levings from Cambridge, UK.

The duo has also notably remixed tracks by artists including Bebel Gilberto, Adam F and DJ Die. Brewer left the group in March 2012, leaving Levings the only member.Guy Brewer leaves Commix (clashmusic.com) In 2016, new material appeared on Commix' SoundCloud page which pays more tribute to sound design rather than on samples.

Based in Cambridge, Commix originally comprised George Levings, Guy Brewer and Conrad Whittle. As a DJ/production team, they began working together in 2002 and the trio released a series of 12-inch singles on the Aquasonic, Tangent Recordings, Good Looking Records, Creative Source and Brand.nu labels, with notable tracks including 2003's "Feel Something", and 2004's "Herbie" and "Surround". After Whittle's departure, Commix was signed to Goldie's label Metalheadz in 2005.

Levings as a solo artist introduced a style less reliant on samples but rather on sound design. The SoundCloud page states that Commix will prospectively appear "with a renewed sense of purpose".

FabricLive.44 is a 2009 album by Commix. The album was released as part of the FabricLive Mix Series. It was awarded Best Compilation in Best of British awards 2009 by DJ Mag.

Fantagraphics Books, 1986. 83. Gay Comix featured the work of primarily gay and lesbian cartoonists. In an editor’s note in Gay Comix #4 Cruse put out a call for more women to submit to the magazine, saying, “After all, the personal style of comic book storytelling in Gay Comix was pioneered by the women who put together Wimmen’s Comix when underground commix were young.”Gay Comix #4.

Köhler also wrote a number of German songs, including "Wenns um Geld geht", "Tortella" and "BIFI". Köhler was part of the Modern Talking choir that used a falsetto style. Köhler co-owned Karo Music Studios and produced music together with other producers including Kalle Trapp, Blind Guardian, Molly Hatchet, New Commix, Kentucky, Toll House, Ser, Ian Cussick band, BLUE BLIZZ, Wave (with Wiedeke) and Gnadenlos Platt. In the mid 1980s, Köhler co-produced a few singles in italo-disco style productions with artists including Stag, L'Affair, C. Dorian, and Tom Jackson.

Nerm, alongside Shiva Soundsystem, curated events, first running parties at their warehouse HQ with international guest performers, then, more legitimately, playing weekend residencies in East London's underground night clubs. Herbal in Shoreditch and Vibe Bar in Brick Lane were two such residencies which featured guests such as Aphex Twin, Commix, Andrew Weatherall, Logistics, Colin Dale, Moving Fusion and Sub Swara. New live bands and offshoot live projects of other acts also featured including Aziz, Ian Brown's guitarist and co-writer of his debut solo album. Shiva Soundsystem toured India and played Glastonbury every year from 2002.
